well I actually was up above Amish country and my family and I were walking through the Walmart parking lot and there were these 5 boys with a boat

they all had the Amish haircut but they were dressed in English clothes they were all smoking and not acting like normal Amish boys

but if they went from Amish to English they wouldn’t have still had the Amish haircut and I’m my book it said b4 joining the Amish church they have a couple days where they can be English and leave all the Amish rules behind. by doing this it helps them decide if they would like to join the Amish church or become English

well the church just goes on normally they don’t do anything? but when they decide to become Amish they have to take classes and then the get baptized

baptized I thought that was only for Christianity. . . or do they do it differently?

unlike the English they get baptized when they are ready so they kneel down in front of the person performing he ceremony and they make an oath
