one thing I forgot to mention, though, is that the act also crushes religious freedom, parental rights and women rights. schools, religious charities in hospitals, and churches would be forced to violate their beliefs. parents lose their ability to make decisions regarding their children’s education and health care: for example doctors will be forced to perform sex-change on adolescents without parental consent, and biological males would be allowed to go to female lockers, bathrooms and allowed to live in female domestic violence shelters. the act should be revised or reproposed. it creates “rights” for the LGBTQ+, but at the expense of other rights. it is the largest threat to religious freedom in American history, not to mention parental rights and female rights.

I agree, but you know? women’s rights and religious rights have come such a long way from the “women should sit still look pretty” propaganda all over the world, and religious beliefs from being killed for believing in a certain religion. lack of religious freedom and women’s rights and every other downside to this law also affect the LGBTQ+ as well-not just heterosexuals. to them, it’s a lose-lose as well, which just proves how flawed the act is—if the act passes, then they lose religious freedom, parental rights and women rights as well, if the act doesn’t pass, they stay like this continuously until another law passes to protect them-it effects them negatively either way.

I think that there are always lines that shouldn’t be crossed this kind of stuff-the utmost importance of this whole thing is to define and maintain balance-only then will a compromise be found and peace enforced

for example, one thing that could be changed is that transgender females should use locker rooms and bathrooms according to their biological gender, as is the same case for sports. there should probably be clarification for religious freedom as well: for example, if your religion is against LGBTQ+, they should be allowed to not support them, but not allowed to discriminate or hate. it’s a very gray area when it comes to religion tbh
