winnie walks to school. happy about today. she can’t wait for the party!

Sadie skips up to catch up to Winnie

"hey!" she says happily, her ponytail swinging

"yeah i know! I can't wait!" Sadie gushes

"awesome! so excited! and I can't wait to meet everyone." Sadie is still shy about meeting new people, but wants make make some friends

“yeah! hopefully everyone can come...” she says wishing Diana was here just to ask how she was doing...

(oh... Diana’s ex came back (Liam) and I pretended to like him... I was very sassy and stuff. he used me to get to Diana and I was upset so I climbed a tree to gather my thoughts... I feel of it and went unconscious. it’s really interesting to read)

Winnie walks into class and sits near the window

Sadie follows her, plonking down in the seat next to Winnie and smiling as she shoves her bag under her desk

Winnie didn’t know Sadie and Sophie very well. then again she really didn’t know anyone other than Diana, Liam and Theo.

she looks at Sadie wanting to say something but she doesn’t know what to say.

“sure!”

"sure, come sit here!"

all of a sudden Lucas walks into the room. sits behind Sadie and says nothing.

Sadie motions to the seat on her right

she doesn't know Sophie or Winnie well, but wants to get to know them

Sadie glances back at Lucas

(l) “what?” he says to Sadie. hoping not to be rude.

Sadie turns away to face the front. "nothing." she mumbles. she doesn't know how she feels about Lucas

Lucas walks out of the classroom to get something before the teacher came

“what was that?” said Winnie confused.

Sadie shrugs. she's a bit confused too

Lucas walks back in the class. this time holding a cup of coffee and a piece of paper.

she smiles over at Sophie and Winnie. "no idea"

he looks at Sadie “can I borrow a pen...”

Sadie states at Lucas, confused

"sure," she mumbles, handing him one

“it’s just a pen... why do you look at me like I’m an idiot?”

she looks away, shy suddenly. "sorry"

Lucas slouches in his seat. not feeling so good about his day...

Sadie turns to the front as the teacher enters

“hey Sophie.” winnie says “you bringing anyone to the party tonight” she says with a smile.

she doesn't know why Lucas acts so weird today

Sadie grins over at Winnie and whispers "can't wait for the party!" so the teacher can't hear

“what about you Sadie, bringing anyone special tonight?”

“i May ask someone...” she says blushing.

“Theo...” she mumbles

“he’ll probably say no... we didn’t have the best first impressions on each other.” she says looking at her shoes...

(L) what party are we talking about?” liam asked Sophie.

Liam didn’t really like Winnie all that much. she seemed ... odd.

“a party at my place!” she said “your welcome to come!”

(L) “oh...” he looks at Winnie “no thanks...”

Winnie felt hurt by his comment...

(sorry, I meant Lucas)

“uh... ok” Lucas thought she just asked him out. he was happy...

class ends

Winnie walks with Sophie. “where’d you want to eat lunch?”

Sadie joins Winnie and Sophie

"hey guys" she grins

"hey"

(were did bookshelf- go?)

“wanna go to the cafe? I went there yesterday. it’s ok” she said

they walk over. when they get there they see Lucas sitting by himself

“okay...”

Lucas it sitting there bored... wanted to do something.

(l) Lucas looks up... “nothing much.”

(I have to go eat dinner wanna rp later?)

(L) Lucas looks at Winnie *maybe she’s not that bad after all* he thinks. he knows he defiantly likes Sophie...

“wanna sit?” he asks

the three of them sit at the table. “what do you want to order?” winnie asked

(L) “same.”

“ok then, 3 lattes it is. I go order.” winnie gets up and orders.

(L) “so, thanks for asking me out...” he says grinning.

“you didn’t did you...” he said embarrassed “you were trying to be nice...”

(L) “really?” he says “alright!”

Winnie comes back with the drinks. it’s silent... “everything ok?”

“what did I miss?” she asked.

(L) “wonderful!” he blushes.

“oh, umm, 7pm” she says.

“I have to go to the bathroom.” she says quietly as she gets up.

(it’s about 11:30am)

(L) “so...”

(L) “what do you wanna do?” he asks

“well, I’m a bit socially awkward. I like to read and that’s about it...”

(L) “Sophie,” he says unsure of what will happen “I know we just met but I really like you.”

(L) Lucas reaches in for a kiss...

(L) “oh sorry.” he said “not there yet?”

“me to...”

(L) “1 thing. tell me when I can kiss you.”

Winnie comes back to see the two of them staring at each other..

“yeah..” she looks at them “and what about you two?” she asked

(L) “nothing.” she says quickly and takes a sip of his drink.

“I was just fixing my hair” Winnie said

“I definitely think you think so...” she says smiling. Winnie was kind of jealous. Diana and now Sophie has someone who cared about them in a special way and she didn’t. although she liked Theo, she was almost positive Theo didn’t like her..

(L) Liam sits there silently.

(Liam. her ex ex. so boyfriend)

(L) “you have a boyfriend Winnie?” he asked and as soon as he said it he knew it was awkward.

Winnie looks at Lucas “uh not anymore, no.” winnie looks at him like she’s annoyed.

“well the last bf I had was... how should I put this” she says looking at Lucas “never mind.”

Winnie and Lucas used to date but things didn’t work out. after that, they weren’t big fans of each other.

(i just made it up then... lol)

“perfect.” winnie says looking at Lucas

(L) “yeah, just fine...” he says looking at the floor.

they have all gone silent... Winnie sips her latte

Winnie wants to say something but once again... nothing

Lucas is just there, kind of wishing to just be with Sophie.

“nothing.” she mumbles. she really didn’t know what to say.

(L) Lucas smiles back.

Winnie grabs her purse “I’m sorry but I have to go.” she says as she walks away.

(L) “wow. that’s the same old Winnie. leaves when it’s awkward.”

“huh?” he says not paying attention “oh nothing.”

“can I kiss you now?” he asks

Liam kisses Sophie to avoid the conversation.

*wraps arm around sophie* “what do you want to do?”

(L) “same here.” he says trying to forget about Winnie.

“wanna go for a walk in the park?”

*they go for a walk holding hand*

(L) “same.” he half grins.

(1:30 odd. party will be sometime soon,)

“of course! besides, there is nothing awkward between Winnie and I.”

Lucas pulls out his phone. “what’s your number?”

“same.”

Lucas isn’t saying much, he doesn’t feel he has to. he doesn’t like to talk all the time and he feels calm with Sophie.

Liam is thinking about what to do next... “hey, come with me” he says, with a surprise

they walk a little bit “close your eyes.” he says as there almost there.

(I said Liam again! dang it)

Lucas walks into the pet adoption centre and finds the puppies “now, open” he said smiling “you get to choose one!”

Lucas was so glad he made her happy.

“no problem.” she said blushing.

Lucas points do this little black Labrador “what about this one?”

“what do you want to call her?”

“love it,” he says, her grabs a collar and lead and pays for her while Sophie plays with the pup.

“what about we call her angel because that’s what you are...”

Lucas puts the lead and collar ooh the puppy. they walk out of the store.

“so can you keep dogs in your apartment?”

“thanks...”

“do you want to take her there and get ready for the party?” he asked.

“I’d love to!”

Winnie texts Lucas “whatever you do, don’t hurt her!”

Lucas looks at his phone then puts it back in his pocket.

“why wouldn’t it be?” he asks a little nervously.

Winnie texts Sophie “hey Sophie! how’s it going? u still with Lucas?

Lucas looks a Sophie.

Lucas steps inside. “nice place.”

Winnie sends group message: “just a reminder my party is tonight!”

“uh, no.” Lucas says. “did you?”

“who from?” she says suspiciously.

“yeah, ok.” he says as he sits down.

Lucas walks around her apartment. he plays with angel. “hey Angel!” hey says to her.

“well,” he says “I can’t really get changed so yeah.”

“uh, yeah quickly.” he said “it’s not far from Winnie’s apartment .”

“you can come if you want.”

Lucas gets a cab with Sophie to his apartment. “here it is.” he opens the door to a clean apartment.

“thanks.” he said. “I’m going to get changed...” he said.

he walks to his bedroom.

Lucas totally forgot that in the living room he had a photo of him and Winnie.

Lucas walks out in a nice pare or jeans and shirt. “ hey, wanna go now?”

“what is what?” he asks

“oh, uh. that is” he really doesn’t want to say it. “uh, Winnie.”

“wanna go now?”

“about a year ago, we, well... sort of liked each other.” he said quietly.

“yeah.” they hop in his car and drive to Winnie’s apartment.

Winnie opens the door to Sophie.

“hey Sophie! glad you could make it!”

“umm, we sort of have a problem, Sophie knows we dated. she saw the photo” he whispers to Winnie.

Winnie sighs.

“there’s food on the table” she says. 10 others were there.

“no problem Sophie!”
