That’s awful! I’m really sorry that happened. Maybe it’s a sign to move on or something..? Try not to take it to hard, but feel free to grieve a little bit. If you have any contact with them, maybe you should tell them that you like them, since they won’t be around to make you as embarrassed. Just a thought.
