aAa- ok so first I arrived and it was really awkward but once the worker introduced himself I felt kinda ok, then another worker came by with this boy and said he was also there for the same reason as me so I was like ‘ok, this should be fun.’ firstly we cleaned out the cages and enclosures which took all morning but it was so wèird because we were all nervous and I’m pretty sure the other boy was autistic or something,, anyway we had lunch in silence (which I hated, h) before flying the birds which was the best part. then we fed them which made me gag slightly because it was dead chicks, especially the glove feeding because the kestrel I had kept flicking it onto my lap and even poøped on me. then we cleaned the gloves and went home. but I actually hate the boy I’m supposed to be working with- he’s very strange and I think he tried to touch me at one point. one minute he’d be working and concentrating so hard then bored and on his phone the next. whenever he was told to do something, he’d do it immediately and never gave me the chance. he was a bit dumb also, and didn’t realise that when we hosed the pens we were actually hosing away poøp. he also kept making weird grunting noises at lunch- but apart from that, it was decent qwq
