What route are you on? I can give you advice on the Pokémon you can catch.

Oh. If you go on the game, watch what it is telling you. The gray circle you move around on the DS, that is how you get out of your bed and move around. Go talk to your mom, then Professor Kukui.

When you get out of the house, go right on Route 1. Kukui will show you how to catch Pokémon. If you get past the tall grass, go to Iki Town.

Go to that opening in the rocks, and follow that mysterious girl called Lillie. She has a Pokémon called Cosmog. Talk to her, then go on the bridge and rescue it from attacking spearow. The bridge will break, but you will be rescued by the island deity, Tapu Koko. If you want to save your game, press X and then hit save.
