Collin watched as magnus walked around aimlessly “are you lost?” he cracked into a smile

magnus stared at collin for a minute before nodding. "yes...i don't even know how long it's been at this point..."

“hmm...yeah this school is too big for its own good. but that would probably explain the missing students...” Collin rambled on as he jumped down to join Magnus

Karma pushed open a door holding onto its last hinge. it swung inwards revealing a dusty attic of a room

Collin nods “uh yeah! sure...if I don’t get lost too,”

"please don't get lost. you're like, my only hope." magnus pointed out.

“tell that to the ever-changing walls” Collin glared just as one of the walls in front of them shifted

magnus followed collins gaze over to the wall. "please tell me that wall did not just move."

“so-“ collin turns back to magnus trying to change the subject “I’m collin and your lost. glad to clear that up” his face spread into a lopsided grin

magnus rolled his eyes. "my name is magnus. thanks for finding me." he nervously glanced back at the wall.

“I didn’t find you per se, you just happened to find me” he then turned to examine the new wall facing them “so what will we do about this?”

"panic?" magnus, suggested, not entirely joking.

Collin glanced at him “...interesting tactic, but I don’t entirely think it’s wise...?” he continued running his hand along the wall farther and farther down the hall

"who said it needed to be wise?" magnus said, staring down the seemingly endless hallway.

Collin grinned “fair point. now come on. these halls can’t last foreverrrrr” he started walking down the hall they were engaged in

"maybe they could..." magnus looked around nervously.

"oh." magnus said. and that was all he said. he felt really guilty for getting them trapped.

Karma tentatively took Maya’s hand “uh...it’s...okay”

Maya helped her up and nodded. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going”

Collin looked at magnus “well?” he asked as if he expected something from Magnus “obvIoUslY, the only way to get out of here is for you to cheer the castle up”

"i don't think i can do that..." magnus admitted.
