I'm a little late on this but have you seen the movie Unbroken? I loved that movie! It was incredibly moving and inspiring. Also, I recently watched a movie called In The Heart of The Sea which I loved, but I that movie is not for everyone. I liked it because it was based upon life in the early 1800's, which I am completely obsessed with (obsessed, it's pretty bad). Movies based more than a hundred years ago always draw me in.
