Samuel slowly entered the school, wishing that he could be anywhere else but here..here at this..prison he felt like a freak of nature, like something was wrong with him...

“Because this is what dad would want me to do,” Chase said. Kendall nodded as she swallowed her pills and just sighed. “I suppose we should meet some people...”

San closed his eyes and took a deep breath in. “just focus. you have nowhere to return to, no life, and here you at least get a fresh start” he muttered to himself, blinking away the tears that were starting to form.

Jenna approached the school. Her eyes sparkled, imagining all of the possibilities this school could lead to. She was ready, ish. She walked in the door and her jaw dropped as she laid eyes on the magnificent school.

Sam finished unpacking and headed to the mass hall, pulling a hoodie on as he goes. once he arrived, he got vanilla ice cream and sat by himself at a vacant table, savoring the taste of fresh ice cream.

Jenna got her luggage from her brother and explored the campus before entering her dorm. She flopped down on her bed and started unpacking.

“Well you’re not suppose to be dead now are you?” Chase said to his sister. “You’re still playing the dead card?” she laughed lightly as she continued to walk around.

Kendall looked at more trophies and awards all having her dad’s name on them. She sighed as she made her way to the cafeteria and banged her head on the table.

Sam looked over in surprise as a girl a few tables away bangs her head. “a-are you okay..um..what’s your name?” he asks, putting his ice cream down and walking over to her.

Jenna walked out of her dorm slowly, admiring the school. It looked like a palace, it was so hard to believe that they would train to fight and control their powers here. She was hungryyy, so she walked to the cafeteria.

Vanessa sighed and walked around, not paying attention. She bumped into a girl. “Oh, sorry,” she said. (talking about Kendall)

Clay wandered aimlessly around the halls with his punch. He stopped by a trophy case and admired them. His name would soon be on one.

“Yeah...I’m fine...thanks,” she said, “It’s just that my father went here and he did so much here. He’s expecting the same from me...well I’m assuming as he’s dea- MIA,” she said. She didn’t like to say dead because she didn’t believe it, “I’m Ke- Nightmare,” she shrugged.

Sam raised an eyebrow and smirked. “Kenightmare? if you say so” he said sarcastically and laughed. “I’m Samuel, not that it matters to a girl who actually knows why she’s here. he takes his hood off and wipes his eyes to make sure she couldn’t tell he was crying earlier.

Clay walked into the cafeteria and walked to a group of people. “Hey,” he said. Vanessa turned around to him. “Oh my gosh no! Not you!” she said. He smirked. “Hey Mira!”

Jenna got some yummy food and sat down at an empty table. She didn’t bother trying to socialize, it wasn’t going to happen anyways. She had always been the outcast, being a hero and covering her face with a mask had been the only time she wasn’t constantly reminded of that. Levi was somewhere..

“Yes,” she said to Vanessa, “I’m Nightmare by the way,” she added. Kendall laughed softly, “Well, it’s all about helping people. So, what can you do?” she asked.

Sam frowns. “ I’m not truly certain yet...I..I had only found out I had powers a day before I was told to come to this school so..uh—I should finish my ice cream, it’s starting to melt!” he yelled, getting them off the uncomfortable topic of ‘powers’ so he could be alone again.

“Of course I am...” Kendall sighed, “I mean I’m glad to have a dad as a mentor, it’s just that I’m never going to have a real name for myself,” she said to Vanessa.

Kendall laughed as she got up and started heading towards the dorms. Meanwhile...Chase was talking to ghosts.

Sam entered the gardens and looked around the wide expanse. he decided to climb one of the towering pine trees that lined the area, hoping for a good vantage point. as he climbed, he cleared his thoughts, trying to sort his emotions. suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his palm. he had cut his hand on a dry twig that was sticking out, he stuck his hand into his mouth and settled onto a high branch.

Jenna paused for a moment to get a sip of water but Levi kept going, mainly just to prove he was better than Jenna.

Vanessa walked with Nightmare to the girls dorm. Clay got more punch and walked outside. He sat in the steps to the school in silence. beautiful silence. although he wouldn’t complain if any girls came to him.

After awhile there were dents in the punching bag because Levi had started to use his super strength... oops...

Vanessa took the mirror. “Thanks,” she said slowly and tucked it into her jacket.

“Oh look...people!” the demonic Kendall sneered as she saw a glassy image of Mira and Azule standing near the mirror. “Shall we bring them in?”

Azule: *nodded and took a swig of her water*

“No.” Kendall replied promptly, but the demonic one just manically laughed as she pulled Mira and Azule into the mirror. When they arrived, their worst fears showed up as well.

Mira was suddenly sucked into the mirror. She looked around, and another Mira appeared. “Oh no,” she said.

Kendall’s eyes widened. So so far they had to fight another Kendall, another Mira, and Azule’s fear was forming at that very moment.

“Ok,” Chase said, “Do you want to train or head to the pool?” he suggested.

Mira backed up and bumped into Kendall. “You’re in here? So that’s why your mirror was on the table!” she said.

“Yeah!” Kendall said, trying to stay calm, “I was just looking at it and then the next minute I transported through the mirror and found myself with myself,” she grumbled. Azule’s fear was still forming, but there was nothing she could do.

“And now we’ve been sucked in here! With two Kendall’s and two Mira’s! Just great. We’re doomed,” she said.

“Maybe we should get some food first,” Chase suggested as he walked into the cafeteria where the mirror laid on the ground...

“Exactly!” she said. (Wow they’re very pessimistic😂) The fears turned into a swarm and started swirling around everyone.

He got two smoothies and handed on to Cassie. He headed towards a vacant table as he picked up the mirror, “What’s Kendall’s mirror-“ he suddenly was sucked into the mirror as well.

Vanessa drew her dagger she kept in her pocket.

They’re just illusions she reminded herself, but it felt so real. Everything it about it felt so real. She raised her bow and shot at the swarm.

“More guests,” Demonic Kendall smirked as she pushed Cassie and Chase into the center where everyone was getting “tortured”

Two more fears showed up which were Cassie’s and Chase’s. Chase’s showed up as a strange man in a dark cloak.

Sam laughed uncontrollably, eventually stopping and raising an arm. “may I escort you into this fine establishment?” he asked, mustering as many of his etiquette lessons as he could.

“That would be lovely,” Jenna said. Suddenly another small lightening bolt flashed from her fingertip. “Oh my gosh... I’m sorry again, this is kinda normal after I help my brother..”. She quickly realized what she had said and put her hand over her mouth.

Sam frowned. “that must be some painful help, unless your using the lightning for electricity..?” he said, walking her into the school gracefully.

“It’s just, he always... ughhhh,” Jenna groaned. “Okay, Levi will kill me for saying this, but awhile ago Levi asked me to occasionally boost his powers, which takes to long to explain how that works, and the only way to do it is to shock him...” Jenna said guiltily.

Sam frowned. “well...uh..” he wasn’t really sure what to say so he just kept waking.

Sam smiles gently at her, looking down at her guilty face. “your alright, I’m fine with you leaning on me. and it’s his choice if he wants to get shocked I suppose” sam reasoned.

“I keep telling him he should stop, but he won’t listen...” Jenna said and sighed.

“Thanks... again. You’re the only person I’ve met who has been this nice to me,” Jenna said.

Sam reached over and side hugged Sofi, attempting to comfort her. “it’s okay, as long as he’s not majorly injured” he whispers , his lips grazing her ear.

Jenna looked down sadly and her eyes watered. Her anger and sadness was trying to burst out, but she didn’t let it.

Jenna looked up and smiled. Her heart was beating quickly and she could feel it in her neck. She stood awkwardly, still smiling.

Sam smiled back and stood back slowly “wanna see the stars?” he asked her, happy to have lifted her mood.

Jenna nodded and her eyes sparkled. “Oohhh, I’d love to,” she said happily.

“wonderful” he said, sweeping her up as he ran up the stairs to the whatever the place is where you stargaze. he throws his head back and laughs as he carries her.

Jenna laughed and grinned. (the roof I guess?) They soon reached the top of the stairs. Jenna’s mouth hung open as she looked at the beautiful stars.

Sam set Sofi down and grinned as he saw her awestruck expression. “pretty good view from here huh?” he stated, admiring her silver coated warm brown hair, that shimmered in the moonlight. ‘how romantic this is’ Sam thought to himself, trying his best to avoid staring.

Jenna nodded. “How can something so small be so breathtaking?” Jenna asked quietly as she admired the stars.

Sam looked up as well, looking at the innumerable amount of stars. “I admire how stars shine brightest in the darkest times” he remarked, looking back at Sofi again.

(I’m jamming hard rn)

She had never really thought about stars that way, but Jenna agreed. She looked at Sam for a moment before looking back up at the stars. She positioned her hand over her mouth so that you couldn’t see how big her smile was.

Sam smiled and hugged Sofi from behind. “they shimmer in your eyes just as though your eyes became a canvas” he whispered in her ear, still looking at the stars.

Jenna removed her hand from over her mouth, revealing a huge smile. “And somehow the stars find a way into your heart, making you shine brighter than anyone else,” she said quietly.

Sam slowly started dancing, holding Sofis waist. He smiled and took his phone out, putting earbuds in his and her ears as he played ‘Can’t help falling in love’

(awww) Jenna smiled and laughed as Sam lifted her up and put the earbud in her ear. She didn’t really know how to dance that well but she tried.

Sam mouthed the lyrics and swayed to the music, staring Sofi straight in the eyes. he couldn’t stop a smile from creeping onto his face, tears of joy and pent up emotion drying on his face.

Jenna looked into Sam’s eyes and smiled. She had never felt so happy.. she did the thing where she made it snow around them again

Sams eyes widened and he laughed, leading her into the snow, still dancing.

Jenna’s hair had small drops of snow on it, and so did Sams. She laughed as they danced in the snow.

(I keep forgetting we’re superheros)

Sam watched as snow covered her long lashes, eventually melting to dew. he kissed her forehead and stopped dancing as the song ended. he walked back into the circle and sat down, staring straight up at the sky once more. “wanna sleep up here? we can grab sleeping bags and pillows” he suggested

(ughhh I’m getting tired but I want to stay up....)

Jenna nodded. “That would be amazing,” she said and smiled. She hugged Sam again. “Come on,” she said as she let go, motioning for them to go back down to their dorms to get some sleeping stuff (long sentence I’m out of breath😂)

Sam ran to his dorm and grabbed his stuff, running back into the hall to wait for Sofi.

Sam smirked and sped ahead, getting par to her and looking over. “that the best you got Weather girl?” he taunted, pushing past her.

Jenna went even faster. “Nope,” she said and smirked as she passed him.

Sam groaned strained even more, finally catching up to her as they reach the roof. he fake pouts. “you win weather girl” he said, dumping his stuff inside the sTiLL snowing circle.

*groaned AND strained

Jenna laughed. She made the clouds disappear and the snow started to melt.

She put her stuff on the ground and sat down.

He unrolled his sleeping bag and set his pillow down, then grins and gets back up. “I present to you, your prize.” and he gives her a skittle package

Jenna laughed. “Thank you,” she said. She looked up at Sam. “Are you using your manipulation powers on me?” she asked.

Sam frowns. “why would I do that?” he says, then adds “I don’t even know got to properly use them, so that wouldn’t work very well”. he lays down in his sleeping bag next to her, and kisses her softly on the cheek. “did that feel fake to you?” he asks her softly.

Jenna shook her head. “No, it didn’t,” she said and smiled.

Sam smiled back. “goodnight, my starry eyes weather girl.” he said, sighing and taking in a deep breath.

*eyed

“Goodnight,” Jenna said and slowly feel asleep.
