So we had a really lovely date; he bought me flowers at a farmer's market, we went to some bookstores and a coffeehouse, we had a picnic in a park and he surprised me with hot chocolate, and then we went to a state park (pictured in remixes) and he had me listen to a recording on his phone. At first he pretended he had written me a song (because our relationship started when I wrote him a song) but then he was like "just kidding, we both know that would be a bad idea lol. Then in the recording he talked about how our relationship has grown and reasons he loves me, and at the end said to turn around. When I turned around, he was down on one knee with the ring and asked me to marry him
I'm so, so excited 😁 I love him so much and I couldn't be happier
