But basically my ex was like a friend of a friend so I met him through them. That also meant we still saw each other sometimes after we broke up on birthdays and stuff and we kinda parted on good terms but it was always kinda awkward after that bc well he was still my ex yk?

So last year one of my best friends starts getting closer to him and she's super open on it, keeping me in the loop, asking me if I'm okay with it and I'm like yeah, bc they make each other super happy and there weren't feelings or something anymore so why not?

In the beginning I def had like feelings about it and I actually wrote a hugggeeee rant on it, but after hanging out a few times I was like wait, this makes it easier?? Like he's a great guy and now it's easier to be friends bc well he has a gf now and there's less awkwardness or something? Idk but somehow this worked out and I'm super glad they're happy together bc they're both great and deserve each other so much :)
