tap is it socially acceptable to create a species based off of a certain culture? i’m sure others have done so before but lately i’ve been really inspired to create a new species (related to my LaceHounds) and it may or may not rely heavily on a certain culture. i will say that i am ethnically part of it but i just want to make sure..?

I’m sure it would be acceptable as long as it follows the rules of that culture, and it’s ok to take inspiration if it isn’t part of it.

i think as long as it’s clearly representing the culture instead of just taking small inspirations, it’s probably safe.
