If you get a sugar gilder, you'll have to change its cage every day. I fed my sugar gilder extra food besides the main food, like peppers and carrots. To start bonding I recommend to do it in a small room or space because they are small and could run away. When bonded they never want to leave you which is a pro because once you bring them out of the cage they won't leave your person.

A con is that it is recommended to have a buddy for your sugar gilder

Chinchillas are great pets too

sugar gliders are actually really sweet you just have to make sure you bond with them. I have guinea pigs and they’re awesome. I also had a rat and he didn’t require much work and we bonded quickly.
