okay first: thx for confiding in me. Second: don't worry, I do have advice. I feel like if you tried to talk to him, you could but your too shy. that's fine. He sounds like a great guy. Now for the advice: When you catch him staring, try to smile. He will prob smile back or get the impression you wanna talk to him. If you have friends that are friends with him, then try to set something up that will include then then try to talk to everyone but focus on him. He's smart so he'll know your a great person. Don't act different or try to be someone you're not. Try to be yourself and just send some signs. It might be hard but you'll get there. Once you two start talking, tease him slightly. tell him (in a teasing way) that you heard he liked you. then ask if it's true. if he smiles but says no just laugh. if he says no (which I doubt) just shrug it off and say "if you say so". This guy sounds like someone I know and if he's anywhere like the guy I know, then it'll take a few days. Remember: be patient.
