becca so when i read that, this subject sounds v good for you. ik that may not be what u want to hear but thats what i think. i totally understand that u have a large fear of social situations e.t.c, thats why i do not want to pressure u into anything - im being vv mindful of the words i use. however, from reading that i see that youre already predicting that your fear will remain all the way until next year. i think that the very first and easy step in overcoming a fear is realising that you can overcome fears. let yourself know that regardless how long it takes, it is always possible to overcome a fear. secondly, im gonna quote u, “i dont want to seem clingy”. you’re subconsciously concentrating on what ur friends think of u, as well as whats good for you. i totally get that this isnt an easy thing to do, but: learn to narrow your priorities down to yourself strictly. it only matters what you want.
