I know exactly how you feel. I lost my grandmom and great grandmom this past year. sometimes you just have to not think about it too much until thinking about it doesn't hurt. that's what I did (pretty bad advice tho)

Thank you. It's not bad advice. I was reading earlier to take my mind off it and when I remembered her, I was sad but it didn't hurt as much.
