I'm so glad you were able to communicate! Those things are so hard to say, but they eat away at you if you don't. I'm glad he was so gentle and understanding.

I'm just afraid that I'll make him feel uncomfortable. He gives me mixed signals and I'm afraid he might see that as going too far

From what I can tell he's not really the kind of person who is super comfortable with physical touch, so if he doesn't return the feelings, that could just make things really awkward for a while
