I don't see why it isn't...But I do actual art and I don't do either of those things

I do band too but I don't consider it art.

The thing is, there is a difference between AN ART and ART. art is drawing, painting, etc. an art is a creative outlet where you create something completely your own. I feel like you're getting the two confused. that's why colleges for the arts aren't just for drawing and painting, but for dance, cooking, acting, and writing as well.
