I'm so sorry for you (about your friend). I know what that feels like. Not only have I moved multiple times, but recently one of my best friends moved far away...I know it's really hard. Tho imagine what your friend is going through. No friends at all, and a house that she might not like, a neighborhood she might not like and I bet you a million dollars that she's missing you too...it's gonna be ok.
