so firstly, my dad and i went to an open discussion with a congressman who represents our district of new york and the main focus was gun control. it was rlly interesting, i got the microphone at one point but i didn’t say something i rlly wanted to because i was crying so much. but it’s ok!! i’m glad i got to talk and tell him how i felt.

then after that we went to dinner at this cute cafe that was having its grand opening, i’ve only been there like 4 times and i wanna work there so bad !!!!!!!!!! they had a guy doing face painting and i asked him if it was free, he was like yeah follow me, so then he asked if i wanted anything specific and i said “idk man surprise me” and the picture is what he put on my face. it was glorious

so then, my best friend texted me saying she was rlly upset bc someone made last minute plans with her and then never showed up and didn’t answer her texts. so she came over and we had an emergency sleep over, we recreated vines outside in like 35 degree weather it was soooo cold

also i ate pancakes at like midnight and we watched monster’s inc. bc it’s her favorite movie, we spent so much time perfecting the vines tho and it was honestly so much fun. i’m just sososo happy she isn’t mad at me

also the face painter dude had a sick beard, and when i sat in the chair and told him to surprise me he dipped a paint sponge in yellow paint and said “are you ready? ok, tilt your head back and close your eyes”
