i’m actually quite fond of how this one came out! i really like the color scheme and i did a few new things which i thought turned out cool:) btw this next bit is just me rambling about this collage and character so if u don’t care i’d suggest ignoring it ;w;

rewatching svs redux had me thinking a lot about roman’s breakdown at the end of the episode and what led up to it, so i made this from leftover photos from the first collage i did:) i focused a lot less on the confident, fLasHy side of his character (“focus on issues or focus on me😌💅”) and more on the side that you see at the end of svs redux—insecure, panicky, lashing out at deceit and thomas, and overall a Sad Hot Mess (“i thought i was your hero🥺”). this is also partly based off of the roman of @illogicallyinclined’s hockey au on tumblr (which, despite knowing nothing about hockey, i am OBSESSED WITH) whose character revolves heavily around his extreme self consciousness and lack of a positive image of himself (but that’s a w h o l e other issue in itself that i won’t get into). if you go back and rewatch other episodes you can see it there too—for example, am i original, where the whole video was basically just roman coming up with ideas and then immediately tearing them down for not being good enough. poor boy is physically incapable of seeing his own worth sometimes i stg (@my stalker cough cough it’s you ily and u should too). i was never a huge fan of roman but my heart BROKE for him watching svsr and being too hard on yourself and your work is def something i can understand. roman angst is quality stuff and Give It To Me. also if dark roman is not a Good Good Concept,, but i digress🥴 the more i rewatch and look closer at his character, the more he grows on me :’) anyways enough rambling i will shut up now but roman is So Good and i love him and if he doesn’t come back from svsr ok oh my gosh i will literally kill deceit with my bare hands,, and this sword OK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH IM SORRY BYE
