Jesus Christ Elle, I'm on my period

my story: "mOM I THINK IM DyINg" *mom rushes to bathroom* "*gasp* oh no sweetie that's your period" "sAME tHING"

I woke up and saw blood on my sheets and I thought I cut myself while sleeping so I started freaking out and then I realised I was on my period. 12 year old me wasn't very smart. and im on my period rn ugh

my stomach was starting to hurt so I just assumed I ate something bad but later that evening I went to the bathroom and there was brown in my underwear and I was alone with my grandpa so I awkwardly waited for my mom to come home

I was in the bathroom downstairs and I realized that the stains on my underwear were red and I thought that like the day before a person dies this happened to warn them so I started crying and screaming for my mom and my dad came down saying that my mom was sleeping and I told him to wake her up and she eventually came downstairs and told me everything

ahaha I found out when I was at the mall and I was like oh shît and then awkwardly called my mom while I'm sure ppl outside the toilet must have heard it lmào

I already knew it was a thing that happened when i got mine so i was just like "oh ok" and i got a pad from my mom(i was at home) and she was like "are you ok?" because she thought i'd be upset and i was just like perfectly fine. The most boring period story in the world.

I got & my mom had told me about it before hand so she told me where we kept our pads and I got gummy bears

but i do remember it was a Thursday

and it was overnight and I didn't get any blood on anything other than my underwear so yeah boring

I remember that it was December 14th, which was a Friday. (yeah it was pretty recent lol) oh um okay I was at school and the girl I liked had just confessed to her crush and her crush said that she liked her back so I was having a pretty shītty day. I laughed it off and stuff around her like I didn't care. I kinda just hid in the bathroom until I had to go to band and then when I was there I realized that my underwear was all gross and I wanted to leave really badly. so I asked to go to the bathroom and my band teacher said no so I sat there for an hour praying that I didn't have my period. then I went to the bathroom and I did and I was like shīt. I didn't tell my mom until like March when I found a bloodstain on my bed. :/ very awkward. I think my mom understood that and sent me to my dads so I didn't have to be around her (with some pads) She still thinks I got it then. little does she know...

that was long okay

I felt really wet so I went to the bathroom (at school, mind you) thinking it was just heavy discharge or whatever and I just about died, I had just turned eleven so I was surprised

that was a time when toilet paper was my best friend

it was late September 2014, I had a dream that I got it and I woke up and I was like that's weird, I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was blood I freaked out and ran down stairs and I whispered to my mom "I'm cursed!" because the word period embarrassed me lol and she just looked at me like what do you mean? and I was like I'm bleeding I have my period! and she got super excited and was telling my dad and texting my sister and I'm over here like NOOOOOO! finally they left for church and me and my other sister spent all day playing Minecraft, eating chocolate and talking about periods😂 we seriously still ask each other if our period things are normal😂 it took a year for mine to turn into HÊLL not to scare you but I vomit every time I'm on my period because of the cramps so keep pain killer on you!

I got my first period at my friends sleepover pool party ouch

when I got my first period it was so awkward cause I was getting changed for a shower and dumped my clothes on the floor then my mum saw my underwear (I hadn't noticed yet) and she was like "oh sweetie, you've got your period" and I was like yay now I'm the same as my friends OH SHÎT IM ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE YEARS OF MONTHLY HXLL

I swim competitively, and am pretty sure I got mine at a swim meet. you can imagine my joy🙄

my parents are divorced and I was at my dads ew
