Originally, Rapunzel was locked in the tower by her "mother" because she was so beautiful, and because she was kidnapped from her real family, and the witch feared that Rapunzel may be taken away from her. I only know the Brothers Grimm story, and Rapunzel had no powers in it. But, if this is Disneys version... rapunzel could be Elsa's sister
