I decided I was going to run over what gender fluid meant with my best friend before I told my mom and my friend decided to tell me that she doesn't believe me because she thinks I want attention. I don't. I just want to be able to openly be me but no I can't.

they're my closest friend and she's just not really that understanding when I try to explain things lgbt related to her
