aww that’s really nice to hear! my family stayed up with me and saw not only the AMAs but also the new year’s thing. I totally agree with the first part, the thing where when people say that they want you to be yourself they mean the version of you that they approve of. I used to be one of those people that strived to be the version that other people liked but I’m more confident being who I want to be and I’m glad you are too :)
