Chase walked around the Festival. He was apart of the Shadowspire group, but not by choice. He walked around with his dragon Ricochet.

Skylar glided across the festival on Tempest. She was looking for their Caelo Iactis Competitors, and spotting anyone suspicious.
Skylar stopped short in front of Cameron and Carson. “Hey guys,” she said, as Chase walked past her.
“Yep!” she nodded. Chase kept circling them which was weird. He then stopped at a booth said a few words, and then went back to walking back and forth.
“Um...do you mind?” Skylar asked Chase.
Mr. Jerkowski basically kept ruining the festival for everyone. He kept accusing, yelling, and asking everyone to give him 20 push-ups.
“I don’t know...” she mouthed back.
Alexa laughed. She and Saphira were riding on Falcor. Saphira was scared and curious at the same so she kept poking her head out of her basket, almost standing up from her crouch, but then she’d chicken out and squat back down. Falcor was obsessed with doing dives and then spiraling back up. Alexa finally decided they needed to land back down at the festival. except for a couple people, she was the only one in the air. she landed Falcor in the meadow next to the festival’s street, where others had landed their dragons, and left with Saphira to go explore. she stopped at a booth that had intricate carvings into wood, then one with special silver and gold bracelets, before recognizing Skylar, Carson, and Cameron. She walked over “hey guys!” Saphira roared a high pitched, raspy, squeaky roar, and little sprinkles of water came from her mouth. she shook the droplets off her chest, then nuzzled against Alexa. Alexa bent down to pet her head, then stood back up again.
“Hey!” Skylar said, still keeping an eye on Chase. Nightwing was on Tempest’s back as they walked around the town avoiding Mr. JERKowski.
*There was an explosion in the distance*
Alexa, who was just smiling, looked over and her face dropped. “What the heck was that?”
Skylar got on the back of Tempest, and in the distance, the Orace’s building was set a flame.
Alexa, just as curious as Carson, scooped up Saphira in her arms and ran to Falcor, whom she then boarded and took off. She followed Carson to the cite of the explosion. (WTH WHY WOULD YOU FOLLOW HER?!)

“No...” Skylar said, not many people knew about the Oracle, but she was crucial to the upcoming war.

“the oracle’s on Fire! oh this isn’t good! this is not good!” Alexa said
“She’s...she’s dead,” Skylar said. That was all she could muster out.

Alexa turned to Carson “yeah, what do you mean ‘who died?’? it’s possible no one was in there. not many people go there. why are you assuming someone’s dead?”
“The only way we know what’s coming for us,” Skylar choked, “We’re on our own” She couldn’t get anything else out.
The fire was now out. “She’s dead because I found the body...” Skylar said trailing off.
She sighed, “That’s a long story...” she said preparing to tell, but Chase cut in.
as chase was speaking, Alexa stared at him through squinted, glaring eyes. she knew this guy was suspicious
“I can’t let you do that,” Chase said, disappearing into the shadows.
“do what?” Alexa asked

“I’m not sure. I couldn’t really tell, but I think he’s the creepy stalker from the booth,” DSkykar said.
(Yeahhh! I’m just going to have to change Sky’s name in the book bc well there’s already a Sky)

Chase appeared behind them, stole something from the remains of the building, and disappeared again.
“Okay, but seriously, WHERE DID HE GO?!” Skylar said, getting in a defensive position. Tempest’s eyes flared, and Nightwing looked terrified
(Building got blown up, weird dude attacking them in the forest)

“I don’t know.” Skylar said. Chase showed up once again, and Skylar threw a lightning bolt at him. It grazed him slightly as he disappeared, and the lightning bolt came back at them.

“Wait! I have an idea,” Skylar said quietly, “I need a Water Rider though...”

Chase kept appearing, and started throwing sloppy throws at them. Skylar dodged them, but he kept disappearing
“Leh!” Skylar said, “Come here!” she said, zapping Chase again.
(Well, Brooklyn is my character, but I rarely play her sooo😂)

Alexa does an undercut, knocking Leah back and her legs out from under her, then, she slaps her across the face, and a loud *smack* is heard. Leah looks mad
Skylar just gave Chase a little zap. She drags him off back to the school.
“Okay, I say we’re even. As much as I’d like to murder you right here, we have bigger problems,” Alexa said and rode off on Falcor after Skylar and Chase

Alexa unstrapped one of her legs then flipped off Falcor, dangling by one foot. she reached out and barely caught Carson’s foot before she hit the ground. Falcor did a side turn to help Alexa back on, and she pulled Carson up too.

Quinn took his phone out and texted Mack “ready to go to festival yet..?”||Mack stopped jumping as her phone buzzed “Suree I guess” she responds, and runs out to the main entranceway. On the way there, she encounters Cameron. sitting in chair. “uh..do yo hand Carson wanna go with my brother and me to festival?” she asked him, raising an eyebrow.
Tempest followed Skylar as she looked through the booths. There wasn’t anything particularly interesting.
Mack nodded and said “I think I saw her outside when I was..” she clears her throat” “um..hugging a tree..” she turns abruptly and walks outside, giggling.

Quinn kneeled down and picked one of the flowers. It was a delicate white flower. he put it in his pocket and continued on.
“Yep,” Skylar said. She was about to say something else, before Matthew, Micheal, and Dylan walked over to the two girls.

She played a pretty tune, the wind blowing softly as it moved along with the music. Danielle had played the flute when she was really little, before she wanted to be a dragon rider.
She didn’t want anyone to know it was her playing the flute. So she kept it secret and wore a mask, a dress in a different style she was used to wearing. Her hair was up in a bun tightly, so her hair wouldn’t fall out.

Somewhere, a flute was playing in the distance, catching some people's attention.

Danielle hid the flute quickly. "Hey Carson!"
"Found your bag." She gave it to Carson.
"No, of course not." Danielle shook her head.
"I’m going to, uh, go somewhere." Danielle got out of the tree and ran to a place where no one would find her.
The flute played again, so where far away.
Danielle was in disguise and had a mask on. Her hair was tied up in a tight bun so her hair wouldn’t give her away. She played the flute louder, closing her eyes as the music washed away her worries.

Danielle peered down and continued to play the flute. She slowly moved away to another tree away from them.

She stopped by the kitchen and baked red velvet cupcakes with a buttercup frosting.
Danielle didn’t burn the cupcakes and brought three dozen of the cupcakes outside to the garden.
"Who wants cupcakes?" She shouted, offering them.

Danielle grabbed her backpack and shoved her things inside. "I don’t think we should stay here..."
"We should stay here when we don’t know what’s going on?" Danielle asked, a bit panicky. She took deep breaths and calmed herself down.
“Well it’s more dangerous out there alone,” Skylar said. “At least we have some protection here,”
"I don’t know, okay?" Danielle lashes out a little. She took deep breathes. "Sorry, something like this happened, and it didn’t turn out well..." Danielle looked away.
Micheal suddenly disappears too. Dylan looked around hesitantly.
"Do you really think we should stay here? I mean someone did just disappear." Danielle pointed out calmly.
He looks down at his wrist where he hid his mark. He knew he wasn’t going to follow his fraternal twin Chase. No, he was his own person. He wasn’t their slave.
Danielle reached in her pocket, clutching her flute to give herself comfort.
