bro same. ive been friends with the same group of guys for two years and i just recently started to branch out to more people because their way of showing affection is teasing and it got to me after a while lol
People show their feelings in different ways, it can be hard to navigate that for a while, but just keep trying. People are so complicated. Also, I've found that my brain is pretty good at picking up on negative signals from people but not positive ones, so that's a possibility too
