Camryn wandered down the familiar halls with the familiar chandeliers and familiar statues. She decided to make her way to the Quidditch pitch, probably one of her most favorite places in the chocolate.

Karma then zipped up her bag and sat waiting. after about 5 minutes a rustling sound came from next to her. “it’s okay,” she called out “it’s just me(even though it wasnt🤭) you can come out now”. after hearing her voice a centaur revealed himself and stepped out of the brush. dramaaaaa

Fabian started prancing as he grew anxious. karma gently pushed Fabian back again “no! no one is going to hurt you. just as long as you promise to never talk about this” she eyed him

“Ah I see,” Camryn said, she knelt down on the Quidditch pitch and took out the snitch. Trying to see how fast she could snag it.

“oh hey!” hazel said smiling, “how’s it going?” she asked, ashton stood off to the side watching hazel with a dorky grin. hazel made a face, and Ashton stuck his tongue out and went to look for someone to talk with.
ashton roamed the halls, wrapping a scarf around his neck. he hummed to himself as he peeked into classrooms and such
“I’m maya” Maya said. she wanted to make some new friends this year, no matter what house they were in. she was really hufflepuff-ish for someone in Gryffindor
Karma gave him a small smile then turned back to Fabian “uh...we can meet up tomorrow” then she quickly headed out of the forest taking magnus with her
Collin ran down the stairs but on the last step, tripped over his overseized cloak.
Camryn let the snitch go, “I was chaser my third year and then I’ve been seeker ever since,” she told him.
"pyxis crux." pyxis said, only sort of paying attention to maya.
“That’s a really pretty name.” Maya said
"so what did i just witness?" magnus asked.
pyxis shrugged. "i guess so. apparently i'm named after a constellation."
“That’s really cool!” Maya smiles again
“it’s going alright,” she said. “noah told my dad about me doing black magic though. i’m going to be grounded for weeks!” she looked over a collin. “are you alright?” she asked.
"i personally don't think it's that interesting." pyxis said."but i suppose it may seem cool to other people."
“incredible,” he muttered. “i’m a chaser,” he said with a lopsided grin.
karma glanced back over her shoulder watching as Fabian galloped away “uh what you just SPIED on was supposed to be a meeting between me and him. he...” Karma slowed her walk “he teaches me,”

“apparently,” she said with a smirk. “cloak a little oversized?” she asked, pointing to it.
"i definitely agree with that statement. you're very..." pyxis searched for the right word. "friendly."
karma shifted uncomfortably “uh different things. like how to apperate and hexes”
Maya smiles. “Thanks. You’re very... ummmm... mysterious..” she giggles
“yeah it is,” he agreed. “and yes we will. mostly everything will stay the same, just making sure everyone’s okay in their positions. my dad gave me some tips from when he played,” he said with a small smile.
"oh cool." magnus smiled. "that sounds fun."
"i try to be." pyxis smiled a little bit.
“oh that!” collin grinned “yeah parents couldn’t afford to buy a new one each year so they bought me one that’ll last. that is if I don’t ruin it first” he grimaced
Camryn nodded, suddenly remembering that she realized the snitch into the air. “So...wanna time me or race me for the snitch?” Camryn smirked softly, holding her book at hand.

“Well you succeeded.” Maya says, glad that she could get Pyxis to smile.
amber couldn’t help but let out a laugh. “well hopefully you don’t fall face first and hurt yourself before you ruin that cloak.”
“how about i’ll time you. let’s see what you’ve got Miss. Sharpe.” he said with a grin.
“yeah, hopefully” collin only shook his head “so what are you up to?”
"would you maybe teach me some?" magnus asked.
"good to hear." pyxis nodded.
“oh, nothing much. just wallowing in the fact that my brother ratted me out to my dad and now i’ll be grounded for weeks... how about you?” she said with a soft smile.
Maya smiles. “Yeah.”
karma stopped walking and tapped her heal on the ground as she thought “I’ll do you one better. tomorrow morning, before classes, meet me just outside the forest and I’ll... I’ll warn Fabian that you’ll be joining our little sessions” she smirked
pyxis looked around awkwardly and then cleared their throat. "anyway, i'll leave you alone now."
“Oh. Okay.” Maya said.
“really? about what? what trouble did you get yourself into” Collin smirked
"alright then. it's a deal." magnus nodded. "your secret is safe with me."

"it was uh...nice chatting with you." pyxis said before walking away.
“i may or may not have done some experimenting with magic. no big deal though..” she waved her hand, but she knew it was not “no big deal”.

um, i understand but then we have 6 people in gryffindor and 2 in ravenclaw. and it’s easier if we don’t have descendants from harry potter.
"will do." magnus smiled, making a mental note of that.
Camryn smiled, “And start...now!” Camryn said, shooting up into the air and quickly scanning her surroundings.
“all the same, what kind of brother snitches on their own sister?” collin asked in disbelief clearly never having a sibling of his own
“well I still need to unpack” Karma remembered “what house are you anyways?”
“apparently my brother,” she said with a roll of her eyes. “but i guess it’s payback for me putting dye in his shampoo.” she said as she raised her eyebrows.

"i'm slytherin, what about you?" magnus said, shifting his bags to his other hand.
“also slytherin,” karma stated “well I guess for better or for worse we’ll be seeing more of each other”

“oh you really don’t. he almost strangled me afterwards. was worth the picture and embarrassment though,” she grinned.

“Kinda glad I don’t have a brother or sister of my own now” Collin laughed
"i'm surprised we've never met before." magnus said. "i've been here for a while now."
Camryn continued to scan the pitch, and suddenly the snitch wizzed past her. She instantly began to chase after it, but the speed and size combined with the dark was not ideal.
“yeah well that would be because it’s only my second year here. transferred from out of country” Karma shrugged
“you’re down a minute sharpe!” he called after her.
“well in the end, i always know he’ll be there for me, and i’ll be there for him, you know?” she smiled and her eyes sparkled, and she tucked a stray chestnut colored piece of hair behind her ear.
"oh, that makes sense." magnus nodded.

a faint, “Mhm” could be heard from the sky. She did a loop and sped up. She was right behind the snitch now...
“that does sound nice. better then having to fend for yourself...” Collin smile faded but then he turned back to her “so, do you play quidditch?”
“a minute thirty!” he informed her.
Then a monstrous shadow appeared right in front of her, causing her to pull straight up. She stumbled backwards on her broom, “Bloody hèll,” she whispered under neath her breath. What was that? she wondered. It had a figure that resembled a dragon of some sort, but it was much larger. She took a deep breath and sighed, she managed to lose the snitch in a process.
“yeah, it can be. i’ve never actually tried? my dad’s been trying to get me to play though. he was gryffindor captain in his last three years here.” amber explained.
Karma shrugged “well I suppose I should go now. see you tomorrow? or later in common room. which ever happens first I suppose” she said as she walked off
“what was that?” noah yelled, wondering why she had stopped. “you’re at two minutes now!”
“really? that’s cool” collin said “I’ve never actually played myself”
“You didn’t see that?!” she shouted. Two minutes...definitely not up to her standards. Not the worse she’d seen though. She continued to race after it and snagged it. Disappointing play there, but what was that...
"see ya around." magnus said, watching karma leave before heading back inside himself.
Karma walked into the kitchen after hearing complaints from the house elves and snagged a bag of apples for later
“really? well here i was thinking you were this quidditch fiend,” she said with a smirk.
Camryn returned back to the ground and clutched the snitch again, “I’m going again,” she announced.
“see what?!” he called back. “that’s two minutes seven seconds. not bad.”
“nah quidditch is too overrated” he grinned “besides I can’t stay on the broom for the life of me” collin said rather embarrassed
“alright. let’s see if you can beat your time,” he said, getting ready to time her.
“now that you are right about,” she agreed. “i’m not too bad at flying, but my brother is definitely the quidditch player in my family. my dad praises him like he’s a god,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“Would of had a minute forty if that weird shadow thing didn’t pass over me...” she said, still confused how he didn’t see it. It was quite large, “uH I don’t know...maybe it was just the trees making a weird shadow or something,” even though she knew that wasn’t the case.
“who is your brother anyways? I don’t think I’ve ever seen him” collin questioned

Karma hurried out of the kitchen before one of the elves threw something at her and walked to the common room
“weird shadow... do you think it was a dragon?” he inquired.
Camryn shook her head, “I grew up with a love of flight- dragons included. It was way to large to be a dragon.”

“his names noah. noah holland. he’s the captain of the gryffindor quidditch team, blah blah blah.” she droned on, waving her hand. “but i’ve never met someone who can make me laugh like he can.” she said with a smirk.
noah thought for a moment. “for our sake, i hope it was a tree shadow.” he shook his head. “why don’t we time you again?”
“sounds pleasant...maybe,” collin shrugged “maybe you could introduce us sometime?” Collin inquired
magnus headed up to his room to drop off his stuff and then looked around for other people to talk to. || pyxis continued walking around the castle, trying not to bump into anyone else.
Camryn pursed her lips and then nodded, “Yeah,” she said. While it would be pretty cool if it was a dragon, that was not a dragon...
