Chloe was in a closet. Jackson was sleeping. Lisa was nowhere to be found.
Alex and Eliza thought it would be funny to play a prank on Jackson...and put JJ next to him while he was sleeping.
Jackson kind of rolled over and hugged JJ, thinking he was Alex. Big mistake.
Eliza was sitting on the floor next to Jackson, trying not to laugh. And Alex was hiding somewhere, hoping Jackson might think JJ was him.
“Alex?” Jackson murmured. “Are you breathing?” He asked, not opening an eye.
Eliza awkwardly scooted closer to Jackson, poked his arm to try to wake him up, and then backed up again.
Jackson sat up groggily and gently shook JJ. “Alex?”
Eliza put her hand over her mouth attempting to stop her laughter.
Jackson opened his eyes and practically threw himself back off the bed whilst hyperventilating. “What the hēll?!”
Eliza ended up running out in the hallway and couldn’t stop laughing.
“What— WHY DID YOU PUT A CORPSE NEXT TO ME?!” Jackson shouted to nobody in particular.
“Because we thought it would be funny.” Alex said, opening the door of the closet he had been hiding in.
“You’ll Be just like that body pretty soon!” Jackson said, pointing to JJ and glaring at Alex.

“Oh really? You’d have to have some pretty good aim to beat that.” Alex laughed
“Or I could just pin you down because you’re so tiny.” Jackson smirked.
Don’t worry. You’ll get used to it. I did.
“Hey, I’ll have you know that I have gotten taller.” Alex said.
“Must’ve been by at most an inch. I haven’t noticed much of a difference.” Jackson said.
“Half an inch.” Alex sighed. “I’m 5’6” now.”
“Thats amazing.” Jackson snorted.

“I’ll also have you know that I haven’t stopped growing yet.” Alex said. “Maybe one day I’ll be taller than you.”

“You totally will.” Jackson laughed mockingly.
“Okay probably not.” Alex admitted. “I’d have to be maybe another foot taller.”
“I doubt you’ll be six feet tall by the time you die.” Jackson said.
Alex laughed. “I doubt it too.”
“Oh my god...” Jackson suddenly came to a realization.
“What?” Alex asked
“Okay So Remember back in New York when I tried to get you to watch a scary movie and you pretended to be asleep?” Jackson asked.
“Yeah...” Alex nodded
“How was I so stupid to believe you were actually asleep?” Jackson sighed. “You never sleep.”

“I used to sleep occasionally.” Alex said. “Not anymore though.”
“Alex...” Jackson looked down at Alex with a small smile on his face.

“Yeah...?” Alex asked, looking up at Jackson

“Your hair is so soft.” Jackson tilted his head down and buried his face in Alex’s hair.

“Um...Jackson...?” Alex said. “I hate to ruin your love of my hair...but there is still a corpse in here that we might wanna deal with.”
“Yes. You should deal with that.” Jackson lifted his head up.

“And you’re going to help me. You know this place pretty well, am I right?” Alex said, walking back over to JJ

“Alright, fine.” Alex said. “Is there any adult around here that I can trust? Because I have no idea what to do about JJ.”
“My sister could... if I showed my mom, she would flip.” Jackson said.
“Okay. Hopefully this isn’t going to end badly.” Alex sighed
“B- Be right back...” Jackson said, stepping outside of the room.
“Yeah...Okay...” Alex said
Jackson stepped back into the room looking pretty worried.
“What happened?” Alex asked
“She said that she was busy... she was making these weird noises on the phone....” Jackson said.
“Well okay. That’s odd.” Alex frowned. “I’m kind of running out of plans here.”
“We could handle it together.” Jackson said.
“Oh my god. I have a great plan.” Alex said.
I will return shortly. my food needs me.
“Yeah?” Jackson asked.

“I have a friend back in the Caribbean who deals with this kind of stuff all the time.” Alex explained. “I’ll give him a call.”

“I’ll be right back.” Alex said, stepping out in the hall to make the call. Oh hey. that rhymed.
“Kay.” Jackson nodded. (That was an amazing rhyme)
Alex walked back in a minute later, smiling. “I have good news and bad news.”
“What’s the bad news? Unless I have to know the good news before the bad news.” Jackson said.
“The bad news is I walked straight into Eliza on my way out and now she’s mad at me.” Alex said. “The good news is my friend will be here by tomorrow.”
“What’s your friends name, if you don’t mind me asking?” Jackson asked.
“William something.” Alex said. “I can’t remember his last name.”
Jackson took a moment to think before he snorted with laughter.
“What’s so funny?” Alex asked
“It’s long, but if you want me to explain, I can.” Jackson said.
“Hold on...” Alex picked up JJ, dumped him out in the hallway, and then came back. “Now you can tell me.”
“Okay So I saw this one thing where they were talking about William Shakespeare roasting a theatre nearby and someone said “WILLY SHAKES IS THROWING SHADE!” and then this other guy was laughing at how he said “Willy Shakes” and when you said William, I thought of Willy Shakes.” Jackson laughed a little.
“What a coincidence.” Alex laughed. “I’ve been reading stuff by Shakespeare again lately.”
“How do you even understand those words he made up?” Jackson asked.
“Well I’m a history minor.” Alex shrugged. “And that’s all I had when I was a kid.”
“Despite all your poor life choices, you must be pretty smart.” Jackson said.
“I’m actually very smart.” Alex said. “Just very impulsive which causes me to do very stupid things against my better judgement.”
“Since you’re so smarts, I has an question for you.” Jackson fumbled over his words a little bit.
“Um...alright.” Alex frowned. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah I’m fine...” Jackson said. “But anyways, the question is, if babies are in the womb for nine months, why don’t they’s comes out nine months old?”
“I don’t know.” Alex shrugged. “I’m not that smart.”
“I don’t blame you...” Jackson said. “It’s a really philosophicals question...”
“I guess it is.” Alex said.
“Alex...” Jackson groaned. “I don’t feel so good...”
“Well...I don’t know what to do about that!” Alex said
“I’m gonna go to sleep...” Jackson kissed Alex on the cheek before climbing into bed.
“Alright. Just let me know if you need anything.” Alex said, sounding a little worried. “I’ll be awake.”
“You’re always awake...” Jackson laughed a little.
“I know.” Alex smiled. “Now get some sleep.”
“Goodnight.” Jackson said.
“Goodnight Jackson.” Alex said
Aaaaand let’s change our focus to Chloe who was stumbling through the halls looking very happy and possibly drunk.
Oh golly. Eliza’s our in the hall too. This could be interesting.
Anyways, Eliza was sitting out in the hall...crying.
“Eliza! Liza, Liza, Liza, Liza!” Chloe smiled, running over to Eliza.

Chloe wrapped her arms around Eliza’s neck and kissed her cheek. She couldn’t stop laughing.
Eliza tried to ignore Chloe and carried her back to her room. And then dropped her on the floor.

Eliza sat down on the floor next to Chloe. “Are you okay?” She asked

“Yeah. I’m fine.” Eliza said
“That’s Good.” Chloe laughed.

The friend I came out to is such a tease. Once I told her, she started saying “I love you” as we left school, she kissed the top of my head once and asked “May I kiss the blessed head?” And one time she even let me put my head in her lap and she played with my hair. She is a tease.
“I’m not apologizing for kissing you.” Eliza said. “I’m apologizing for kissing you while you’re drunk.”

“But What’s the difference between kissing someone they’re drunk or sober?” Chloe asked.
I mean I love her but I hate her. She does this despite the fact that she’s Christian and says that she’s “straight”. I put the quotation marks because I think she’s lying.
“I don’t know.” Eliza shrugged

“Exactly, then don’t be sorry.” Chloe smiled.

She’s as annoying as Eliza. There are a few moments when she gets a little crazy happy, but she’s usually not willing to put up with anyone or anything.
“What?” Eliza asked

“You wanna know what I would be doing if we were laying next to each other in bed?” Chloe asked.
She’s also very smart. And short. And a ginger. And she has a lisp. AND THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR BEING PANSEXUAL. I THINK EVERYONE IS HOT.
“Do I want to know?” Eliza asked

“That’s definitely a relief. After my last boyfriend I don’t think I can handle much more of that.” Eliza said

“Wanna go to sleep?” Chloe smiled.
“Yes.” Eliza nodded
“Goodnight.” Chloe said, laying down right there, on top of Eliza, in the floor.
