braces do hurt. they aren’t torture devices but they do run the insides of your mouth until they’re raw and it hurts to exist.

I have them and the only time it hurts is when they tighten them

im getting braces next year, I’m not very scared or necessarily “happy” to get them. I really don’t mind.
