I totally see your points and agree with some but feminism isn’t meant to be putting men down. yes some do and it’s not right. I call myself a feminist but I don’t put men down. does that make sense? lol 😂
I am not mad. People have their opinions and I never believe I am in a place where I can take away that right of one being able to have their own opinion on topics. Saying that, I do wish you know that the definition of feminism is not rising women and and lowering men down. it’s evening out the playing field for both. Feminism addresses equality and recognition of women’s endeavors and achievements in this world.
I think their are a great deal of “feminists” who view the very definition of the word completely wrong. Some women believe feminism means men are nothing and women are always better. which is not the case at all. Feminism is a movement of equality and empowerment, not discounting one gender for the sake of glorifying another.
*there
I agree with what you said, at first I didn’t. But what you said about throwing guys under the bus really meant something to me, I’m not sure why though. 👍🙏❤️🌈
yeah- lol @gemqoutes wrote it a lot better than me 😂
YOUR MY NEW BESTIE....
mY GOD IVE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH ME (this as well as the lgbtq+ stuff) 😂
Um.... as a feminist, I feel very strongly that all females can do jobs just as well as men. It foes not through men under a bus, although the EXTREME feminists do. I TOTALLY agree with GemQuotes.
yes ik I have these friends who are ALWAYS on about feminism and always bragging about it. I'm not entirely an anti-feminist, but I do get ur point👍🏼
hm I feel like ranting so here we go. I very much so agree with this post, but I’m not entirely an anti-feminist. I DO believe that women, men, and everyone in between should be equal. duh 😂. but the thing with feminism is...a lot of the time women take it too far, and it starts to get twisted into the idea that women are BETTER than men and don’t need them, and that’s what I’m against. by definition (like...women=men), I definitely support feminism, but in the real world, where things get twisted from their original meaning, I don’t.
mmm... well I’m not anti-feminist because I strongly believe in equality and the right to believe what you want. So I don’t really think it shouldn’t exist, because that’s just the world we live in. But I do think that feminism is also a form of passive sexism. I am not a feminist, but sometimes I post “woman empowerment” stuff, just because I believe in women being strong and standing together, not because I’m a feminist.
no no no
girl I get what ur saying, but c’mon EQUAL RIGHTS, and I get it, sometimes feminism is used in way where it seems like feminists are saying females are better than males, but no, that’s not what they are saying. It may seem that way because they are so loud about their rights, and they don’t march for males because THEY ALREADY HAVE IT ALL. females are still fighting for the respect and treatment males get, and have been fighting for far to long. Sexual abuse, sexual harassment, lower pay, respect, and just the treatment we get it general is not fair. FEMINISM: FEMALES=MALES
I get what ur saying but that makes no sense in the long run
just because some people show such pride about being a female or supporting a female AND THEIR RIGHTS doesn’t mean that they think girl come across as better, and anyways tons of guys have thought that their whole life, so going against feminism because of that is absolutely pathetic.
there is lots of good feminism but also some bad feminism
well everyone has their own opinion, but it’s true that men and women don’t have equal rights. take women’s pay for example... why should a man who works the same job get paid more than a woman? I’m not a feminist, however, I believe that feminism is standing up for female rights, yet believe that everyone is equal.
