I have this great story to share

but it might take awhile so wait for it...

So I had this crush on a guys from grades 3-6, and eventually ended up moving schools and got over it, (took a bit, but glad that’s over). Anyways, now I’m in high school and he just so happens to have moved to my school and we have half our classes together.. UgH. Anyways, it was awkward at first and he seemed like he wanted to pretend he didn’t know me, which was fInE.

But THEN second semester rolls around

And he starts talking to me? I kind of played along and pretended that it wasn’t awkward. Somehow, we got onto the topic of crushes and I talk to my friend (who sits at our table) and go “ahh crushes. That was a weird time for me in elementary school.” and he goes “wait you had a crush?”

(I’m going to switch to a dialogue thing)

“yeah, but I’m over it”

him: “if you’re over it then you got to tell me, let’s relive some memories”

me: “um what”

him: “yeah, I’ll tell you my childhood crush”

me: “yeah, yeah, I know who it is, it was kind of obvious. If I tell you, no questions asked got it? Otherwise it gets messy.” *laughs awkwardly*

him: “sure, fine, whatever “

me: “lol so um it was you. Isn’t that just funny? Don’t worry, I’m over it though so this won’t get weird” *bell rings* (to my friend) “anyways, see you at lunch!”

AND I JUST WALK OUT LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED

I’m so embarrassed. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ but it’s pretty hilarious. 😂
