McKenna was nearing the destination when her mom called again. When her mom told her what had happened, a tear rolled down her check. She quickly wiped it away, McKenna never cried.

Skylar threw her hair into a messy bun as she looked at the stars in the sky.
McKenna finally reached the hospital by her house, which was only about an hour away from the school. She was “greeted” by her mom. “He’s this way,” her mom said, dried tears still on her cheeks.
sienna leans back and stares at the stars and takes out her camera
“are we there yet?”
“Almost,” Skylar said quietly
Brody seeing that Halle was upset wrapped her into a hug. "How about we do something to take your mind off of Jack for a little bit."
“ok” sienna looks at her photos of the sky, she takes out her art supplies and began drawing
“someone’s sugar high” sienna laughed
The taxi drops them off at a huge cabin that was on a covered cliff that was overlooked the water and the stars. “So...” she stated
When McKenna and her mom reached the room her dad was in, McKenna’s mom hugged her tightly. “I’m sorry..” her mom said. “For What?” “For not giving you the childhood you deserve...”.

McKenna walked into the room. She tried to hold back her tears. She held her dad’s hand.
Skylar sat down at the cliff and looked around.

“So McKenna... are you going back to school?” “Probably, but I’ll visit,” McKenna said and wiped her eyes. “You’ll stay here tonight though, right?” “Of course.”
