I think you should go for it. Maybe he likes you back! But I also advise asking yourself some questions like Would you like him to know that your heart is invested in him? Are you thinking of a relationship? Even if you're not thinking of a relationship, it's better to tell him and ask if he likes you back than wonder for the rest of eternity. My opinion is to take that opportunity before he graduates, but I also think you should go with what your heart wants :) if so, probably tell him in person, it's more meaningful :) good luck!
