Yeah, understandable!! I do really like the vibes, but compared with other similar books, the worldbuilding and stuff is just lacking. The selection was great, but the newer Kiera Cass books have mostly just become guilty pleasures for me at this point. Have you read the siren? Bc that one is also one of my favs :)

Oh I didn't know there were two versions, I've only read the newer one I guess. Yes, I've read a thousand heartbeats, liked it better than the betrothed and it was a fun read, but imo nothing will come near the selection series
