omg eight years already??? dang I remember going to their concert when I was like ten haha they’re so good
where to begin ... so .. okay. I’m not one of those fans that’s been here from the beginning. I didn’t even know who they were until about 3 years ago. (I was very disconnected from most pop culture haha) when I started listening to their music, I had no clue how big of an impact they were going to leave on my life. it never occurred to me that these five people who I’ve never met could influence and inspire me so greatly. the past couple of years have been hard for me, as I’ve struggled to find purpose and acceptance and being denied it from one of the most important people in my life. one thing that’s really helped was finding a strong group of friends. another, learning to trust God’s plan for me. but back to the boys. they picked me up when I was down, they made me feel wanted and loved. they told me I was beautiful. they told me that the others don’t matter. that I should learn to love myself for who I am. they have left such a huge impact in my life and I honestly don’t think I’d be the person I am today without them. I am more confident. I am a stronger person. they showed me what kindness is, over and over. they showed me how to be my own person and yet be respectful of others. I love each one of these guys so freaking much, more than I know how to say. and I am forever indebted to them. happy anniversary, boys. I love you. here’s to many more years of One Direction-even if the band leaves, their influence in our lives won’t. thank you Niall, Harry, Zayn, Liam, and Louis. ❤️
Wow. I just read through all of that and I'm so so so happy! I'm so happy that you learned to love yourself and that they had such a positive impact on you! One Direction is also huge for me and I truly believe that it's one of the best groups I've ever heard. 💞💗💖💖💕❤️💜❤️💙💘
