But the story doesn't end like that, Jesus rose 3 days later! (Easter Sunday) Someone once told me that our whole life is kind of like the Easter story. They said that it may be Friday, but Sunday's coming. I think they were trying to say that even if we are going through something hard, we will get through it, and all we need to do is trust in Jesus to get us through.
