no one was using this so I was so confused

Kendall had stacks of materials from the bus and some thick branches.

Rose grabbed some thick branches and moved them to a tree that they could use as a base to lean the sticks on and stuff

Thea dropped her sticks and supplies in front of a tree. “Guys,” she shouted, “let’s put our supplies in a pile!”

"Ok." Rose puts her items in the pile

Kendal stood up, “Okay, so I have an idea, we can possibly find a shallow cave and then reinforce and stuff? That away are already protected from weather and stuff and we have a place to store stuff,” Kendall suggested.

Thea shouts to Kendall, “Uh, Kenna?” she forgot her name.

“Close enough,” Kendall laughed lightly. That was her nickname, so was Kenny, but she hated Kenny.

Thea looked at Kendal, “Good plan Kayak, let’s search for one.” Thea said, still forgetting her name.

"I don't think we should go to far from everyone else though..."

"But it is a good idea."

Kendall narrowed her eyebrows, “Kayak?” she muttered as she started hauling her materials around.

Thea scoffed at Rose’s remark, “Sure, but we need to survive by ourselves as well.”

Thea laughed, “Just a joke Kinna,” she moved forward.

“Well okay Timber,” she laughed lightly. She longed for her bow and arrow right now. It would be useful and she loved shooting.

Rose stared at the ground annoyed and unsure of what to do. She didn't let her face show it though so she just laughed at the joke.

Thea stopped laughing, “Okay, but seriously we have to make the shelter. I have some plans, but I’ll need help. This is he biggest project I’ve ever faced. “ she said to the group.

"Well let's go find a shallow cave then."

“I agree. We should find a cave, it’s the most sturdy and we can reinforce it even more, but I do have some ideas for a shelter if we can’t find one,” Kendall said as she walked around.

“Good,” Thea said, “then let’s-“ she collapsed on the grass.

Flo just arrived, late 🤦‍♀️, she had no idea what was going on

“Thea?” Kendall asked as she saw Thea collapse. Kendall thought quickly, “She might be dehydrated or famished,” Kendall said, “We need to find a cave and start a fire soon, so we an move on to water and food,” Kendall stated

"Are you ok?!" yelled Luna concernedly

“Give her space,” Kendall said calmly.

" I have a water bottle but it's half empty..." said Rose

“Kayak,” she whispered, “is that you?” Thea’s stomachs growled loudly echoing throughout the woods.

“uh excuse me, I’m late, well my name is Florence but I heard we’re trying to find a cave as shelter”

“Yes, it’s me Timber,” she said. She heard her stomach growl, “Alright I guess we do need food now...” Kendall added

“Rollex, are you there too?” She was still on the grass.

“Hey Florence,” Kendall said, “And Yeah, we are,0

"Yes that's true. My names Rose."

Thea used the little bit of her energy to look up. “I heard Floor. Did someone new arrive?”

(guys I will not be posting another challenge for another day or two so don’t worry I’ll post more chats but that’s it so people have time to enter)

“okay, well I can help in almost any way possible” she said

“Yes, this is Floor,” Kendall gestured to Florence as she continued on the Quest to find the cave.

"Don't worry I'm here," Luna said as she gave her hand to Thea so she could pull herself up.

(Yeah, these nicknames are getting difficult to come up with 😂😂)

Thea grabbed Rose’s hand and pulled herself up before collapsing on the floor once more.

Kendall walked ahead to find a cave, “Guys! Over here!” she said as she realized Thea was on the ground again.

"Here have a few pita chips." said Rose

Thea stood up once more, “Rolex, could I have some support?” she felt her legs giving out.

“floor? you can call me Florence” she said

"I can go look for berries near here."

"Yes of course."

“Eh, Floor is just your nickname,” Thea said through a mouth of pita chips.

“We all have nicknames around here,” Kendall explained, “Well, now that we have a shelter we can start a fire and hopefully get food and water,” she stated.

Rose gave her hand to Thea

Thea grabbed her hand and put most of her weight on Rose.

"Here have a bit of pita chips." offered Rose to everyone

Rose went a bit off balance but soon regained her balance

Kendall took a chip, “Thanks,” she said as she wandered inside of the cave.

Thea requested, “Rollex, follow Kayak!”

I hear a stream running somewhere here, said Rose

Rose followed Kendall into the cave and then said that she heard a stream running through it

Thea jumped at that news. “Fill this!” she shouted at Rose, handing her a metal water bottle.

“That’s helpful...the cave isn’t that deep, but there is still a stream.” she hopped over the stream and we can have a campfire over here and we can sleep closer to the entrance,” Kendall suggested,

“Well...we kind of have to boil the water first,” Kendall pointed out.

Florence shrugged and kept walking

Rose yelled happily, "It's running from underground! I think you are able to drink it."

“Perfect plan Kayak! Now, hand me some wood and leaves.

"There might be a hot spring somewhere under here..."

Kendall set the materials onto the ground and gave Rose leaves and wood. “Hopefully it is a hot springs, but we still need a fire” she said

"Yes of course."

"I said that because if it's a hot spring then we can drink the water, but boiling it just in case is good too."

“Yeah, we don’t know what other bacteria is in it as well and we can’t risk getting sick,” she said.

"I'm going to go look for some berries."

Thea took some wood and leaves. “Okay, do we need to close off the cave? it would keep the animals out.” Thea suggested.

Kendall nodded towards Rose, “Yeah...we probably should get some vine as well to act as rope and such. I wonder if I could make a bow out of what we have...” she said, looking through their material.

"I have a blanket in my bag that was part of my project which we could hang up."

"But then again we might need it to cover ourselves." said Rose

Flo helped Kendall in whatever she was doing

“Okay, go find the vine. Leave the building to me. I used to do life sized bird houses with my mom. Don’t ask why,” Thea laughed.

"I'll go look for some berries, and you guys can look for vines. Make sure to not go to far though."

Rose grabs her bag and goes around the cave looking for berries.

“So, are you nervous we might never get out of here?” Kendall asked Flo.

“Floor, go with Kayak to find vine, or find some more food.” Thea said to Flo.

She yanked a few vines and carried them over her shoulder.

She finds some wild blueberries and puts them in the zip log bag that the pita chips were in.

She takes some vines and constructs a bowl

Kendall grabbed a few more vines and an arched stick. She put everything into a pile as she got more vines

She picks more blueberries and puts them into the bag that she created out of vines. She picks all the ripe blueberries off of the bush and goes back to the cave to present them with it.

(I wonder what everyone else is building🤔)

Rose yelled, "I got a bowl and a bag of blueberries from a bush."

Thea popped her head up,”Blueberries? Get to me quick!” she yelled.

Rose takes a handful and gives them to Thea

"The rest are in the cave. Don't eat all of them though. Also if anyone has any food put it near the blueberries."

Thea eats them fast, “So, did you get any vines while you were getting berries?” she asked.

Rose takes a handful and eats them

Kendall comes back with several vines to make the reinforce the door and for her bow. She drops all the vines in a pile of materials as she starts tightly tying the vine onto the arched branch.

(Kayak is Kendall’s nickname to Thea.)

Well I got a few, and I used some of them to construct this bowl.

(Kayak is Kendall, Rolex is Rose, Timber is Thea, and Florence is Floor)

Thea took some of the vines and began to make a cover for the front of the cave.

"Anyone want to come with me to get some more food?" asked Rose

“Ooh berries,” Kendall said as she was testing out her make shift bow. “Ugh I need something sharp...” she mumbled.

"Floor want to come with me?"

Thea stopped for a second and looked at Kendall. “What are you making exactly?” Thea asked.

(ohhhhh Okay)

Rose asked that since both Kayak and Timber were busy making important stuff.

“A bow,” Kendall simply replied. “We can use it to start a fire and get more food,” she said as she started redesigning it. “My aunt taught me how to make them...only with better materials,”

"That's a good idea." remarked Rose

"Do we have any more vines left that I can make into a bowl?" asked Rose

“Yeah, you might need some arrows for that,” she continued working on the wall.

Thea handed some vines to Rose, “Here Rollex.”

“Yeah, but I’m going to need feathers, and that’s something I do not have right now,” she said.

"Thanks Timber." said Rose with a smile almost forgetting the grave situation that they were in.

Flo ate some berries and helped Rose

“Very true Kayak,” Thea agreed, setting the cover in front of the cave. “There, all good!”

Rose quickly constructed another bowl. She didn't want to be out of the cave at night.

"Thanks Flo." said Rose

Flo and Rose had constructed two bowls one for each of them."

(Okay, we technically finished the shelter, so, we should probably wrap it up for now. I also have to go soon so yeah.”

"Ok. We are going to look for some raspberries or some mulberries. Come with me." (mulberries are black berries which grow of these tree/bush things and are very sweet.)

Flo and Rose quickly found a raspberry bush.

(well we finished our shelter so we are kinda done)

Rose told Flo, "Stay here and pick the ripe red ones. I'm going to go on ahead to see if I can find more food."

Rose walked around looking for food but she couldn't find any more berries in that direction.

She came back to Flo and helped her pick the raspberries.

(Yeah but then we’ll be basically talking to ourselves😂😂)

They got one bowl and a half full with raspberries. Rose also spotted some onion (like the green kind that is out of the ground) so she picked some of that too.

They came back to the cave and placed the food near the blueberries.

(We found a cave with a stream and we added a door. We are gathering food and Kendall is also making a bow. Rose also made a bowl to put berries in and Thea made the door. Everyone has nicknames as well)

We still need to build a fire

Kendall arranged rocks into a circle as she left her bow close to the materials. She started placing sticks and such on top of each other and she started rubbing two rocks together. A small spark started as the tinder was lit on fire and the whole cave flowed.

Once the fire was ablaze, Kendall then started pushing rocks for them to sit on around the fire. She smiled at how their cave was coming along.

Everything seemed pretty comfy. They had a blanket, warm water, and berries. They were doing pretty well, but Kendall needed feathers for arrows.

Anything to improve our cave😂

Kendall got materials and headed back to the cave to finish making a stack of arrows. Fish was probably going to be their best bet as there was a river nearby and it was overloaded with fish.

Kendall grabbed a bag and decided to go out and bow fish some fish.

She knew that there was probably bears, so she took all the fish she caught except for two and tied them up into a tree. “We’re going to need a bear proof storage unit,” she said as she took two of the fish and started roasting them over the fire.

Kendall then took a fish and started walking around.

Kendall then realized that she could catch more fish if they had a net. She started tying vines together unsure if it would work.
