👏🙌preach, it’s so annoying to look at the same style and theme over and over and over again. we need something original, something that hasn’t been done before. ik this is the trend, but all of it just looks the same and there’s no creativity or style behind it. ppl should rlly try and experiment with new themes and style, and not just stick to the “trend”. we get it, it’s the “trend” and y’all want to be “trendy”, but looking at any of them doesn’t inspire me at all. none of those collages give me any inspiration, it just makes it more boring to look at. why can’t they just try something new, maybe something that isn’t like meandmeonly’s style, something that isn’t beach or girl. WE WANT ORIGINAL STYLES, not oh let’s just try and be trendy and copy others

it’s not hard to create a new style, it’s not hard to not copy @meandmeonly’s style. when I look at the featured collages, they all look the same. I don’t understand why they don’t bother putting their own style and creativity into their collages. tbh I’ve got comments in the past saying I copied @GemQuotes, but at least 1st, i give her credit when I posted something that IS inspired by her and 2nd i add my own style to it. I don’t just copy hers. and I rlly want others to do the same, sure u can stick to that style. but at least add ur own to it. make it something fun and fresh. we don’t want to see something that has been done for at least 1038492109 times

aw okay I’m sorry!! what other themes are there..? not any that are that interesting!! I know I did a a couple of collages that looked like meandmeonly but I was running low on inspo!! now I created my own theme!! not everyone is copying each other we are getting “inspired” by them!! we all copied/get inspired by everyone’s collages and sometimes it is hard to create new styles and themes!! no ones it try to be “trendy” most people like me are try to create collages on what we love !! sorry for this rant

Enya has an AMAZING style and it's beautiful, and I understand people doing an "inspired by" collage with her style cuz its freaking amazing, but it HASN'T STOPPED FROM THERE. well I’m sorry I haven’t even seen meandmelonys page but I like my theme and I’m going to stick with it. I have been to so many different pages and gather a little bit of tips from each page to make my own style. I’m really sorry you think this way but it’s the way I like my page.

I honestly love the ocean it’s one of my favorite places to visit and i like to make collages off that. I kind of agree, but you circled mine which is not the same as anyone’s at all, it’s the blue collage, I don’t see how it is beach themed or similar to anyone else’s. But I do think almost all are beach themed.💙

so my thing: meandmeonly’s style is very copied but i feel like a lot of people don’t get featured in that style unles it is meandmeonly

also a lot of the collages u circled aren’t “girl themed” they just have a girl in them so that’s not very fair. also you should also circle the k pop collages because there is a lot of them too

i agree with heavysoul, i’ve seen piccollage feature a set theme. and the collagers don’t decide what goes up on the featured page anyway. i also think it’s kinda hard to accuse people of copying when, as you’ve said, these types of collages are everywhere.

i know this is a little late😂 but most of them aren’t even @meanemonlys style. I think you’re thinking that everything with a girl in it is her style but it isn’t..many of them are the persons own style or at least they added their own thing to it. and yes, just like you said pc is about sharing creativity and what not, but being inspired by someone IS creativity, it’s how you redo it to make it your own and to make it your kind of thing. but yeah I do agree that pc is featuring ones that all look the same..heavysoul is correct you can’t accuse and insult people’s work when it wasn’t their fault or doing for being featured. I also think it is a little rude to just go out like that and embarrass the people who have been circled. you never know, they could’ve actually taken HOURS to make their work but unfortunately the pc feature system is very...well let’s just say it doesn’t live up to its purpose. but yeah you shouldn’t blame that on us.

but yeah if you have a problem with the features, complain to pchq, it’s not like we can do anything about it :/

pc always features the same kind of style/theme. sadly I feel like pc fails to recognise other styles out there that doesn’t always include a girl of some kind :// like for instance people with your style should be recognised more but pc feature system fails to do its job

also saying that most collages aren’t even as good as @meanemonlys style..well, ofc they’re not as good, it’s not the original creator😂and you never know people might be trying to make her style but not EXACTLY like her style, so that’s why it looks different. I’m pretty sure she’s been here for a few years considering all her posts and experiences, so it’s not fair to say that we aren’t as good when we basically just started getting into it..if that makes any sense at all

well, some people genuinely like collages like that, aka summery and Beachy, it’s not cuz we’re trying to be popular. it’s because we like it. fortunately, pc’s feature system has been changing. if you look there now, it’s filled with creative and unique posts of all styles. and meandmeonly’s style’s changed too.
