I definitely see how some people may see it to be overrated, depending on what kinds of books you enjoy. But I happen to think it is extremely underrated😅 though, I received an entirely different message from reading it than the one that is most often extracted from Doerr’s novel. Perhaps I will write about it sometime on my account😌 it’s entirely a spoiler free message, but it’s a big one. and I cannot say I have read “Anne of green gables”, but I suppose I will have to someday since they are my grandmother’s favorite😌✨😊 I understand, it is difficult for me to get new books as well, since I do not live anywhere near a book store. That is something I have never shared on here😅 I live quite a ways out in a strange climate that I can’t quite describe. But as long as I was able to get my hands on the same book as you, I would love to read one together in January😌 perhaps it would have to be from my school library😅 (which is also terribly limited and unfortunately, very underfunded😔 that is again a story for another day...)

also, I must agree with triplet-klf that fireworks on Christmas sound quite foreign but quite marvelous!😅✨ I wish you a very merry Christmas, Astrid🎄
