ya it’s def too soon for people to say they stan them or not especially since they haven’t heard their music. And by that logic too it’s also unfair to call txt the ‘new bts’ esp since it’s seems it to me that bighit is taking a new direction with them. It’s okay to judge their concept so far and as for my opinion on that: a bright concept isn’t terrible but it’s also not making me excited for txt as much which is disappointing on bighits part. Like if their concept from the teasers was a bit more attention grabbing? Idk it would have attracted people besides armys but then again I’m not gonna judge soley on the concept (even if it does give off a generic vibe) I’m sure the boys are talented.

That being said, I think we both know that bighit is innovative in certain ways from the universe to specific details from the mvs/teasers is surprising. Again no hate and I am still excited, but I wish bighit used that innovativeness with txt bc I know they can do it. Not to mention they have so much room to experiment bc they can take the risk knowing txt have some armys support. I think it would have been really cool to bighit come out with a girl group or (what I personally want to see more) a co-ed group. I feel like with co-ed groups, people boil it down to a sexy concept (like trouble maker and kind of? Kard). But there’s so much more you can do with them and bighit would have really captured even more attention which is necessary since competition with rookies is gonna be intense this year.

Sorry for rambling haha, the weird thing with kpop that differs from the western industry is that bc (sadly) its a lot more like a business there’s a lot more factors and possibilities to talk about
