I've noticed that in the media, whether information or entertainment, there is almost always a political agenda, especially in media geared towards a younger audience (teens-20's). Culture directs thought and thought directs culture. My worry is that our culture and thought revolve around us being consumers. We tend to absorb information as it is presented, without inspecting it first. I think that we need to work away from being mindless consumers and toward being critical thinkers. It's easy to poison someone who eats whatever's on their plate, but harder to poison someone conscious of what's in their food.
YOURE SO SMART HOLY COW π±ππ
I admire you
idk who said it π I asked people to submit quotes and I would give them credit and they were supposed to be quotes that they came up with but some people just ditched the whole idea π
ππ well, I hope you travel a lot in your future βοΈ
yay!!! they are back!!!!!!!!πππΌππΌππΌ
I agree with your answer. Its seems very much as if this world is just turning into a big machine... no minds or souls thinking in creative ways to solve their problems. Just facts. and i feel like culture is trying very hard now a days in media and television, like you said in children's especially to turn people into what they would like to see and what would help them get richer. Children sad enough to say are the easiest to brain wash, therefore they are the heaviest target. it isnt even their fault. its simply the fact that their (maybe i should may our) minds are sponges! we absorb everything! each human is just a beautiful collection of everything they have ever seen, done, heard, smelled, and everyone they interacted with. different experiences create different people. But it seems with social media and technology we can share experiences and help shape others with beautiful things! unfortunately people dont always see it as so, and the marketing has taken over. culture has so much to do, especially today. i hope that our generation can make a beautiful culture to help make beautiful people somedayπ
but if you are asking for a quantity answer (extent).... i would say as much as the mind lets it. (lets in)πππ
same here. I just hate having the body I have and people keep on telling me that I'm not fat and sometimes some do mean it but I still want to change myself
the culture we are exposed to in our youth molds our mind for our entire life
culture can largely influence our veiws. for example, manners, language, and thoughts. culture shapes a person mentally through traditions
