It may not be inspiring to you, but to someone who is extremely short and always has been, it is. Do you know what it feels like to watch all of your friends go to watch a 15 rated movie at the cinema while you can't get it because you don't look 15? I do! Do you have any idea what it feels like to have people ask you if you have 'growth problems'? I do, and let me tell you that it is embarrassing. Someone said to me the other day "Hey, if you stay under 4 foot 11" you get paid disability! You get paid for being a midget!". I am called 'cute', not 'pretty'; I'm not known as the girl who is clever, or reads books, or is amazing at cookery. No, I'm remembered as the 'midget with glasses' (I actually heard people say that, and as you can imagine it was quite upsetting) I AM self conscious about my height and no one seems to think that it's a problem to take the mick out of me for it, but it does hurt, the same as it hurts for being bullied about your weight, acne etc. So this quote is inspiring to me, because Daniel Radcliffe is one of my heroes and he understand what is feels like to bullied because of something you can't help.
