wow! this is really good thank you so much for entering, I hope you enjoyed the exercise! as for feedback, I’ll start by saying that I’m not super experienced in poetry so you don’t have to actually take my advice but I’ll offer it anyway 😂 first of all, I really loved the ending of this poem! The last stanza was really good and really brought it all together for me, which is amazing that you could do that! As for the main body of the poem, I would suggest going more into specific details about the relationship between your two main characters. One thing I have learned about poetry, and writing in general, is that it’s cool to go into little details that enhance the piece. This opens up new doors for rhyming and just opens up new space for the writing to grow. The ideas that you have in this poem are a great structure and do work well together but if you were to work more on it, that’s what I would suggest. Don’t be afraid of detail :) hope that helps a little! Like I said, no need to actually take this advice who knows if I actually know what I’m talking about haha. This poem is great regardless! ♥️
