That makes sense. We have learned a lot of geography, but since where Thant makes sense. Canadian provinces are the only states/provinces of a country I can label on a map and that's because we spent a bit more time because my state borders Canada. In geography we spent around a month on Central American and South American countries. Most of the people at my school take Spanish for a language, and they have to memorize all Spanish speaking countries and label them on the map (I take Chinese though).
