Prince Damien waited for Lady Minaaaa

Mina walked in, nervous, but trying hard not to show it, putting on her professional teacherness

The Prince was standing near the poolside, looking out to the night, “Oh hey,” the prince said with a smile.

“Hi!” Mina said happily, smiling.

“How are you tonight Lady...?”

“Mina. Ans I’m doing good. Um, what about you?” she asks him

“Well Lady Mina, it’s nice to meet you,” he smiled, his accent showing through, “I’ve been better, but I’m excited too,” he responded

“Nice to meet you too... and that’s good.” she smiles.

The Prince returned her smile, “So any hobbies?”

“Well I’m a teacher’s aid and I help kids learn Chinese. but I also enjoy being around animals.” Mina says. “What about you?”

“I play the piano and I sing,” Prince Damien replied

“Ooh that’s awesome! Maybe I could hear you play and sing sometime?” Mina asks

“Maybe,” Prince Damien smiled.

Mina also smiled. “What’s it like being a prince? I mean, all the stories make it sound so fun and easy but I bet there’s more too it than what the stories tell”

“Well before I became the crowned prince, I honestly didn’t have many responsibilities. Then my brother was assassinated...” he started to choke up a bit, “Then all of these responsibilities came crashing down on me,” he said

“But before, it was just a big castle and hanging out with my friends in a lush setting...now that I know the pressure he was under, I wish I helped him out”

“I’m really sorry about the loss of your brother. I know how it feels to lose someone who was close to you..” Mina says. “But Hey, now you have a ton of strong women who can help you out. and you have your friends.”

“That I’m thankful for...I don’t know how I would be able to do it without support,” he admitted

Mina smiles. “Well, there’s always gonna be someone who is always gonna be there for you. and if you need it, I’m here, so you can vent to me all you want. I’ll listen.”

“Thank you,” Prince Damien smiled softly

“Of course” Mina said
