I have a question for you. Is twenty one pilots emo music? Yeah, I know random question, but I was talking about how happy I was for them and then my friend (the trashy one) said that they were 'emo music'. I tried to argue that they weren't (which I don't think they are) but being the nervous cluster I am, I couldn't think of a reason why they aren't... oops🤷🏼‍♀️

they're "emo" just bc the jokes of emo quartet/trinity,but they actually aren't because even tho the lyrics are sad the rhythm is happy so technically they aren't emo.Just compare them to mcr,mcr is actually emo bc it has depressing lyrics and heavy/sad rhythm

also,tøp has no emo members like pëte (in 2007) and Ryan (in 2005-6)

they aren't emo like MCR is emo they are "Emo" like they have songs that have deeppppp meanings but not like MCR. and yessss I freaked out then I listened to kitchen sink on repeat

the definition of emo is something like shows emotion and has meaning, obviously making TØP music emo, though the individual members of the band are not.

my friend also likes to say they're emo too. but it's not a bad thing. emotion is never bad. and because TØP is "emo", I'm sure they've saved a countless amount of lives with their music, making it much more important and so called "emo" than ever.

so, it's better than boring, sexual songs you hear on the radio today, and gives a better image out than "I like big butts", etc. which apparently is emo.
