She knew they didn’t include this in the news since it was happening well tonight, but there was going to be a huge carnival held at one of the neighboring schools so they could all meet different dragon riders. She wanted to go back to bed, but class was starting soon.

Danielle walked down the halls and saw Carson. "Hey!"
"Wanna hang out?" Danielle asked, tilting her head a little. She was eating pancakes with lots of maple syrup.
The pancake stack was wobbling a little, it was really high up. It was a miracle that she didn’t drop it.

"I’m Danielle." She sat down. "What do you like to do?" Danielle asked, freezing her orange juice that had her straw in it. She pulled out the frozen orange juice and sucked it like a popsicle.
"I love to cook and bake. Most of the time, I hog the kitchen. It’s cool that you draw! I’m terrible, and it’s fine if you’re not very social. I can just talk and talk while you can be silent if you don’t have anything to talk about." Danielle finished her popsicle. "Would you like me to make you something?"

"Alright! I’m going to go make sugar cookies, wanna help?" Danielle offered.
Skylar groaned as she finally rolled out of bed, and walked to the cafe
"Sure! Maybe you can draw the cookies I’m about to make, I’m thinking of doing a bake sale at the festival! Well, if that’s allowed." Danielle smiled.
Danielle baked the cookies and didn’t burn them this time.

Skylar went to the mess hall, and started eating a muffin. She was excited for the festival, and a day off of school
"It’s. So. BEAUTIFUL!!!!" Danielle screamed a bit too loudly. "Oops. Sorry, Carson. It’s just that you’re a really good artist."
She got onto Tempest, and started to fly. When she got back, she heard Mr. Jerkowski yelling at the students.
"Really? You should!" Danielle smiled.
"Great! Even though you aren’t really social, you can still show your voice through your art." Danielle smiled.
“ALRIGHT!! WHO STOLE THE ANCIENT STAFF?!” Mr. Jerkowski asked to the students with a very snappish time.
Danielle looked at Mr. Jerkowski. Danielle's thoughts: Hm.. His name has Jerk in it. And ski. I wonder if he’s a jerk and loves to ski....
"You should show the world!" Danielle smiled at her. "Well, baby steps first."
"I didn’t steal anything!" Danielle offered him a sugar cookie. "Cookie?"

Mr. Jerkowski just stared at them.
"One person at a time." Danielle nodded.
"So, want to try the cookie? They cooled down." Danielle offered the cookie to Carson.
"We don’t have class! It’s canceled!" Danielle smiled.
"It’s because of the festival that classes are canceled." She added.
Mack woke up slowly, and then sniffed the air. “d-do I smell..cookies..?” she said to herself, and followed her nose to the kitchen
"I know right? It is good!" Danielle bit into her own cookie. "MMMMMMM!"

Mack grinned widely. “YES PULEASEE!” she said happily.
"Want me to make you a cake too? The cake that I accidentally burnt yesterday? The triple layer triple fudge chocolate cake with all chocolate toppings?" Danielle asked, starting to prepare it.
"Well? Want me to make the cake?" Danielle stopped whisking the batter to look at her.
“YEEeeeEeEt!” she yelled, stuffing a cookie in her mouth||”whats goin on in here..?” Quinn said sleepily. he looked at Mack and sighed. “Mack if you don’t eat those cookies slower you’ll get sick” he said, sitting down on the counter.||Mack rolled her eyes and ate another cookie “Whal evel” she said with her mouth full.
"Alright!" Danielle put the cake in the oven. "Hope I don’t burn it this time..."
Mack laughed. “me too” she said, walking over to steal a few chocolate chips.
"Done!" Danielle pulled out the cake. "We need to let it cool, then I can put frosting and toppings on it."
The cake cooled and Danielle put frosting on it and toppings. "There! Want three slices?" She asked Mack.
Mack nodded vigorously. “yeet” she said, bouncing up and down.
Danielle gave her three slices.
Mack squealed in delight and dug in. “OH MA LAWDY THIS ISH GUUUUD” she said, eating it quickly.
"I know, I’m the best." Danielle flipped her hair.
Quinn laughed. “can I try some..?” he said quietly to Mack, getting a fork out to try a piece of hers.||Mack frowned. “NU ITSH MINE, GET YO OWN”||Quinn sighs and looks at Danielle “May I try it?” he asks again.
"Yes." Danielle gave him a few more slices.
Quinn smiled faintly, and stabbed his cake. (MWAHAHHAHAHA) He chewed it carefully. his eyes widened, “wow. this is awesome!” he yelled, then his ears turn red “s-sorry..” he said, backing out of the kitchen.
Danielle ate her cake. "Mm!"
Mack rolled her eyes. “sorry, he’s not very social..” she says, finishing her cake. “what’s happening today?” she asks, sitting on the counter.
"A festival and classes are canceled!" Danielle informed her.

Alexa carried Saphira as she was running to the stables. it looked very awkward, which just forced Alexa to run harder and faster. when she finally arrived, Saphira leapt out of her hands. She harnessed up Falcor, then grabbed Saphira again, and hopped on the saddle. Falcor looked back as if to check and make sure they were good. Alexa fastened Saphira in her little basket seat in from of Alexa, and Falcor took off into the sky.
