*my mother is standing at the open front door talking and smiling politely with a woman about her age with a royal air around her, just behind her I see you. I gasp slightly at the sight of you and I am suddenly aware of my wild hair and casual clothes*

*i get nervous and my mother motions for me to stand next to her, looking at appearance disapprovingly. I move so i’m standing right next to her and drop into a curtsy* we are so grateful that you came to visit *i say in my most calm and regal voice*
