Ahh yes. I’m listening to only us rn :) I’m doing good sometimes then other times bad. my anxiety has been acting up with school starting and stuff. it’s confusing tho bc I’m so stressed and worried but at the same time I feel so...I’m trying to think of how to explain it.. an example is I have two days of summer left but I’ve been wasting my precious time on my phone and part of me is mad but the main part is like ‘oh well’ Another example is tonight is open house at school and so people dress nice to meet their teachers and classmates. normally I’m like ‘ok I better wear something nice, not to nice tho because you don’t want people to think you’re trying to hard. and you definitely don’t want people to think your move changed a bunch and are now all popular and wear cute trendy clothes’ (okay I have a thing where o really want to be cute and trendy but I just can’t because i don’t feel like I’m cool enough...do you relate or is it just me? lol) anyways, back to what I was saying. normally I try to look nice, but I honestly don’t feel like doing anything. I don’t feel like getting ready, dressing nice. tbh it was a struggle to get up this morning. it’s the afternoon and I just changed from my pajamas. yeah, so I chose to wear a t-shirt and athletic shorts. my friend sent a picture of what she was wearing and she looks really nice. she asked what I was wearing and I sent a picture and she was just like ‘are you wearing shorts and t-shirt?’ so now I’m like cräp why can’t I wear something nice? I’m not tying to be all ‘depressed’ and ‘ahh I have anxiety feel bad for me’ but I needed to rant about the struggle. OK ABBY I ACTUALLY RELATE SO HARD U DONT EVEN KNOW AND I HAVE A STORY FOR U OK so this clothing brand called brandy Melville is rly popular at my school and last year I wanted to wear their stuff bc I thought it was rly cute and I loved all their clothes but I never wore any of it to school bc in my insecure little head it was reserved for popular ppl and i wasn’t cool enough for it and if I tried to wear it I would look like a try hard or whatever idek. But then on spur of the moment fxck it all I’m wearing this kinda thing before school one morning I decided to wear a super basic super trendy sweater from brandy and was rly nervous about what ppl would think but no one actually ended up giving a cräp so I’ve been wearing pretty much whatever I want since then, although I try to not be too basic lol. So yeah I would say just wear whatever u want wear whatever is cool to u and don’t worry about not feeling popular enough for it cuz popularity isn’t a real thing it’s only real in the minds of ppl who buy into it and it shouldn’t keep u from expressing urself the way u want to (wow Leila cue the inspirational music). Also I’ve found that ppl don’t usually care what other ppl wear which I wish I had realized years ago haha rip. I’ll give you a complete rundown (I’m sorry in advance 😂)

first day: COMPLETELY INSANE. I barely rolled out of bed because I was exhausted. the night before I went to bed late as usual. anyways, I saw a lot of people that I knew and caught up with them (honestly I only talked to a few people — I’m honestly not sure why lol) all do the teachers seemed pretty chill so that’s great!

I’ll be back to finish. I’m just gonna go shower first

Hahaha omg relatable ya today was my first day and I was so dead in all my classes and barely paid any attention to what we were supposed to be doing. That’s great that ur teachers are chill! I’m taking this advanced art class and there’s two periods of it and I missed the period w all the other freshmen so my class is all upperclassmen and I’m rly intimidated. Besides that it was pretty predictable
